Congrats on getting partnered and on the anniversary! I think I started my channel around 2 or 3 years ago to make contemplative camping videos about enjoying being in nature. It has very much morphed from that into something I didn't expect, but I do love how much more freedom I feel I have with editing now. And I very much get what you mean about it being enjoyable to the point of losing a lot of time doing it 😂

@@YoungsterBeccy Actually our family spent 10 days in Ireland over the summer exploring many different historical sites and places. Of course part of our trip included visiting many of the sites where shooting took place for Derry Girls including St George’s Parrish in Belfast. And just about every site in Derry. The only place we weren’t sure about was the outside of the Quinn house. Was wondering if you knew if that was in Derry and if so do you remember what street it was on. Thanks so much.
Congratulations. Now I want a cupcake. I've thought about starting a youtube channel, but I lack the requisite charisma, talent, drive, charisma, confidence or charisma. It would be nice to get some ideas out of my head. I've been steeping myself in internet media criticism for the last 25 years, lord knows why, and it seems like it's at a pretty low point. That makes me want to do something to correct it, but I think fighting fire with fire would just make it worse. I think the answer is to say what you would actually like to see, rather than making ten videos a week complaining. When these people try to actually make something of their own you realize they have nothing to bring to the table.
That is such a good discussion. Criticism is so fascinating and comes most from people who do nothing. It's such a shame they don't just bring their own art and ideas to the table instead. Probably because it's such a comfortable position for them. There's no vulnerability in throwing rocks from afar. The charisma can be learned! So don't rule yourself out if it's something you would love! Also here ... 🧁

I do have a question about your voiceovers. Are you ever ask to speak in a different accent. And if you do, how difficult is that for you. Of course I love your natural Ulster accent because my mom speaks the same way❤️🙂
Yeah loads! Mainly English and American. In school drama classes we were taught that no one wants to hear a Northern Irish accent in movies or plays so I was well trained in other accents from a young age 😂
