    You sir are awesome,
    You just explained everything that my (shitty) TA *tried* to explain, not only that, you did it in less than 6 minutes. Rather than 50.
    Thank you. Thank you, thank you.

    how can i choose the numbers that you give from your head? how can i determine the numbers that should be in group 1 etc?

      The best way is first to check the distribution of your data. Picking the numbers at random and categorizing them isn't a good practice. Use your mean and standard deviation to categorize

      Hi guys. I think you are asking me about a crosstabs table that gives counts for combinations of 2 categorical variables. Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/poatWWscpvI/видео.html

    • @PhilChanstats
      @PhilChanstats  5 лет назад

      You would recode the values. See my video on recoding in SPSS ruclips.net/video/9PZUyU2vnb8/видео.html

    How can I transform a continuous variable (on a Likert scale from 1-7) to a continuous variable on a different scale (on a Likert from 1-9)?

      You can use Z scores for this. Descriptives -> save standardized scores ;). 5 years too late but oh well.
