i have to assume Disney has a copy of the original extended version SOMEWHERE in their massive network of media databases, storage facilities, various employees new & old... just as we recently saw with the public leak of the original extended Catdog theme song (which only aired as a promo music video around it's premiere), i think it's still possible that one day we might get to hear the actual extended theme song for Bonkers.

i wish Bonkers were represented in Mickey's ToonTown in some way. At least they did Gadget's Go-Coaster next to Chip and Dale's tree house to represent Rescue Rangers.
Imagine both of them (Bonkers and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers) along with the Goof Troop cast of characters (including A Goofy Movie and An Extremely Goofy Movie) in Kingdom Hearts.
I feel like I remember him being visible on a street sign somewhere or a picture frame or something but I'm probably wrong. I know for a fact Bonkers, Darkwing, Launchpad, Max Goof, Marsupilami, and the Tail Spin versions of Baloo and Louie used to be meet and greet characters tho. I'm really hoping they all make minor come backs when toontown reopens. Mainly since they all cameoed in the VERY successful ducktales reboot

It's a shame. I actually HAD this theme on tape, until Hurricane Katrina came. Destroyed before a time when I could have easily put it online. This theme was used four times from 1995-1996, with the episode "Comeback Kid." Oddly enough not a Miranda episode, despite that the theme only used clips from the Miranda (and compilation) episodes. It's not bad, though the theme changed from D major to E major starting with "Ready for some big surprises." In fairness, I'm possibly the only person who remembers the theme well enough to remember that XD

Roger and Eddie Valiant were going to be the main characters but due to rights issues with Touchstone they had to create new characters that were similar enough to make viewers think "Oh, I know what you're doing". .. well if it wasn't when you made this post, it certainly is now - i just clicked on an episode on Disney+ today just to watch the theme song in high quality. not sure if ever single episode if there, but it looks like 95% of them are at least (Goof Troop, for example, is missing an episode or two - but one of those is technically the syndication-only Christmas special).

this is bad, a friend of mine from school actually had a dvd recording with this intro on it that he got from a yard sale, but disney somehow went to his house and took it, he was gonna give to me to put it online, but it was also scratched, so i can't put it online now

It was received rather poorly back in the day & vanished once it reached the 65-episode limit. Reruns would appear on Toon Disney, but once it got replaced by Disney XD in 2009, it has never been seen again outside of Disney+.
Robbie's voice is a lot snappier & jazzier which honestly gives this a much better feeling than the actual theme song lol. Even if the real deal is found, it probably won't sound as majestic as this lmao.

Robbie's voice is a lot snappier & jazzier which honestly gives this a much better feeling than the actual theme song lol. Even if the real deal is found, it probably won't sound as majestic as this lmao.
