It’s cool to see the whole convincing a woman he was Kevin Costner situation Saul told Walt in Breaking Bad actually happen in this episode. Also seeing Jimmy getting Marco’s pinky ring is cool to see, especially since he wears it as Saul Goodman. Great reactions guys, keep up the great work!

Don't feel bad about disliking Howard up to this point, this show did a great job at misleading the audience as to who the actual villain at HHM is, we were just as fooled as Jimmy was.
villain is a strong word he just didn’t want jimmy to have the power of being a lawyer with the kind of person he is we learn in this episode that he literally showed his balls and ass to some kids but because he’s funny we all look over that ? just cus chuck calls jimmy out doesn’t make him a villain
sad jimmy always kept that hate because he can never truly hate his brother.

It’s one thing to be (however justifiably) worried that his conman brother would pursue a career as a lawyer, and even to disapprove of him being a lawyer, but it’s another to go out of his way of sabotaging him behind his back, deliberately trying to bring him down while not trying to help him properly rehabilitate, despite Jimmy taking care of him, trying to help him rehabilitate and help him find his way back.
Also, I can’t go too into detail with future events, cause I don’t want to spoil Max and Jeremy of, but like I said, that’s not the only thing about Chuck.

I actually rewatched this episode recently myself. Despite Marco being a criminal, especially a scammer, I definitely felt bad for him.
Marco might’ve not had the most respectable lifestyle, of scamming people (even if said people they were scamming were hardly any better) for fun, Marco was still a much better friend for Jimmy than his own brother was.
Marco’s end was definitely a major turning point. It also kinda reminded me of Walter having cancer, Walt knowing his time was short, and wanting to get some excitement in his life. Bryan Cranston said it himself, that Walter would rather live an exciting year than an underwhelming decade or half-decade. Towards the end of your life, you don’t wanna live with regrets saying “I should’ve or I shouldn’t have.” Even if you don’t agree with his scamming lifestyle, you could definitely see where Marco was coming from.
Marco, even if he does still see Jimmy as Slipping Jimmy, he accepts Jimmy for who he is, lawyer or not. Marco wanted Jimmy to build something for himself, and essentially told him he shouldn’t trap himself with Chuck. Sometimes the worst kinds of prisons are the places where somewhere is supposed to be safe, should most ideally be peaceful, with the people you’re supposed to be able to trust…but they just aren’t those things for you.
I’m excited for you guys to watch Season 2! This has been a great first season, and it’s been great watching you guys react to it!

Re: "...and I'm Charles Manson?!" I first got familiar with Bob Odenkirk when he was on the short-lived Ben Stiller Show (comedy sketches and parodies) in the 1990s, and he did several skits as Charles Manson (quite a good impression of him!)

Marco telling Jimmy that Chuck hates him was harsh imo. I think he was just trying to get jimmy to stay with him. those 2 probably got in trouble alot growing up. and Chuck probably had no use for Marco. Does not like what jimmy does but I don't think he hates him. I can see him being annoyed and maybe jealous of jimmy though.

What Marco needed wasn't just Jimmy's friendship, but the scamming. He's addicted to it, and he got a bigger high (better schemes) with Jimmy than he could get on his own.
Jimmy and Kim are not dating or anything
They seem to have had a past, but are more or less just friends at this point in time.
Love rewatching better call Saul with y'all because there's things I didn't notice sooner than before. I thought Howard was a douchebag and last episode and this one, we see he feels a bit guilty and bad about Chuck betraying Jimmy . So now Howard isn't necessarily a bad guy

sad marco was more of a brother to jimmy then chuck ever was.
Hey Jeremy, don’t be too harsh on Jimmy about sleeping with another woman. Up to this point it’s unclear if they’re together. They’re obviously good friends, but I believe it’s only later on, when they start living together that they actually commit.
I didn't care for it either. I thought they were alot closer. just goes to show how jimmy really is as far as I'm concerned.
Well based on BB and this first season, Saul just likes fooling around. Really not enough insight into his friendship with Kim. We know they worked together in mailroom and seem to care about eachother.
