Hi Nomad, Once again you are Holding my Attention and I like it. You make me reminisce on when I would go to Original Alameda Flea Market and thrift stores in my neck of the woods and observe and sometimes buy some of the items you are sharing with us all today. FYI when Mario Andretti won the Indianapolis 500 it was Live on the radio but back in 1969 that race was on a week delay before anyone could watch it on the Living Room Televisions. California Loves You 🐒🎶🧜♀️BellaDonna
Hello from Alexandria In. I am homebound due to a disability, you make it a wee bit easier, I adore ur videos! So informative & makes me feel like I'm shopping with you! I miss looking for treasures! LoL Take Care! Thanks!😊
So many amazing things. I am finding myself becoming quite fascinated with the stunning array of things people collect. Thank you so much for sharing George!
Oh I love the redwoods. We traveled there last year. Great pictures. I love that beaded french purse. The float pen is funny. They sold alot of them in the 90's too. I've bought a few... LOL 😜. Thanks for sharing all your info 😊.
Thank you George for showing us your traveling eBay. It must take so much organization to plan your road trips. So appreciate all your knowledge!🤗 Be safe George! 👍🏻
That was some seriously fantastic items! Several of them are interesting to me😉 Every premier you do simply locks me in! I forget about everything else, and am fixed on the video😳 Thanks Much!!!
George - just discovered you through the bunker challenge Crazy Lamp Lady- will watch them all. Saw your interview with Nevermore Antiques. You talked about youtubers you like to watch. Try Paper and Moose. She does old paper items, history, flea markets, trash picking, some travel. She has a history background and does the " history behind the paper" . She has a good, entertaining video delivery.
A fascinating mixed bag - again nothing that is likely to turn up in the U.K. but all the more interesting for that Thanks for sharing your extensive knowledge
I know a little about the U.K. antiques and I do get excited when a bit of Royal Doulton appears on screen but it is the fact that I only know about US antiques from channels like yours which makes them interesting- and yours is certainly one of the better ones as you buy an eclectic mix of items each with their own back story which you with your encyclopaedic knowledge can fill in. What amazes me is that you can stroll through an antique mall and have an in-depth knowledge of virtually everything . I look forward to your latest videos with eager anticipation
Great video George! I went to look at the listing of the 'adult content' pen at the end of the video. It had sold already!!😂😂😂 Bet it was Misty who bought it!😂😂😉
Great video George. Friends from Canada ,only in phase one of re-opening. My guess few more weeks before our antique stores will be open. Drive safe and stay safe.
I've done online sales on the road since the 80's. No problem at all. They wore lots of makeup in 1800'a and before. Used fruit and charcoal and even arsenic.
That's true, there were certainly periods where wearing makeup was considered grand well before the 20th century. I forget sometimes because I so rarely encounter items from the prior eras related to it and I recall my great-elders' admonitions.
Thank you so much for replying to me because I couldn't find it I finally found everything Yay That's just what you need to worry about answering questions for older women with you on vacation haha But seriously thank you so much I thought the little snuff-bottles would be on there SO that's the reason when I first found it I didn't think I had the right page BUT AGAIN THANK YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL VACATION AND BE CAREFUL
Hi George! I love that you wait to list the items until after your videos post! I lost out on several pieces from other RUclipsr's because they listed their items before their videos were up and by the time I went to their eBay stores... they already sold! It was a bit frustrating, for sure.
My Grandmother had one of those cigarette cases in silver. I never remember her smoking but she kept the case and that I do remember being very beautiful. Incidently she was eventually diagnosed with COPD even though she had quite...the years of smoking took it's tole. She later died of lung CA.
Great video as always! So glad you're enjoying the mug! ❤ Someone beat me to the fab Whiting & Davis cigarette case! Did I mention I also collect tobacciana? lol 😅
Well thanks, I'm finding out what I do and don't know the longer I do it! My folks liked old things and money had to stretch so thrifting and collecting started early. I also just had it in my blood! But the big turning point was being hired as the marketing director for a retail chain that included four antique malls full of great stuff in the last years before eBay.
I recently (well, last year) found a souvenir shop in Vegas that sold those pens in both male and female. My husband had never seen one and I clearly remember them being a “thing” when I was little. My parents had a few of them. 😁
Hi George. I am a subscriber and love your channel. I even got my husband to watch you. We both think you are crazy knowledgeable and really enjoy the places you go. I have a question. Pare there any antique shows like the ones you sell at that come thru Pennsylvania?
Hello! Pennsylvania has some great shows. Look up Renningers antique shows in Pennsylvania and also Bucks Co. flea market in of Langhorne. I believe there also is a big show at Strausborg
I didn't get to watch this video until Thursday I couldn't find any descriptions that you said would be there I can't figure out how to get your EBAY. so I can see what you have for sale on my phone If you would just send me the CODE and I can type it in Sorry I'm such a bother Please be careful in Florida and have fun I am interested in the little snuff bottle that looks like bone only It is plastic we can talk about it Later I don't want to bother you Now Thank you so much I AM 77 AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO SOME THINGS ON MY PHONE
Hi George, I am a new subscriber. I have really been enjoying your videos and learning a lot. You mentioned you like Worlds Fair items. I have a 1893 Worlds Fair Libbey milk glass hatchet. It has Geo. Washington's bust on it. I can not find any info on these made out of milk glass. I don't think its a fake. It has the raised lettering on it. Do you know anything about these or know of a group/site I can ask? I would like to sell it but have no idea on value. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cant wait to see your next video. They are so educational! Stay safe.
Hello! It's likely not a fake, those were a popular souvenir at that fair. I haven't seen one for sale in a long time, but recent listings on eBay indicate $20-25 values...they honestly sell for a little more at shows. Thanks for subscribing, I'll see you with a new video soon!
@@TheAntiqueNomad I have been watching ebay and I have only seen the glass ones or the milk glass without Libbey printed on them. I would be interested in seeing the link if you can sent it to me. Thank you for letting me know! Please check out/subscribe to my new channel. More videos coming.

When I when I’m out and about I would definitely start looking at the paper products in old photos
Me too it’s fun and a good clue to farting things

Thank you for another great video and drive safe!
Hi there! Thanks I'm here and well. Oregon opening soon?
Yes, as a matter of fact! In fact, I hear that the store where I have a booth is opening on the 21st with reduced hours. Woohoo!
It takes a person like you, with the the brain.

Yes they were fun and funny, my dad's got confiscated when I was old enough to notice
The Antique Nomad That’s too funny.
You should update this video! One year later with the sales stats.
Yes! You're right. I'll probably do a "flashback" video about it
