I can't wait for someone to make a level entirely out of invisible blocks where you have to use a fire flower to find the blocks.
That... doesn't actually sound that bad. Bad, but not that bad.
The cappy power up allows you to throw your hat for jumps and you can take over enemies. Using controller mode it's right trigger.

Idea for MM3:
Mario Oddysey Style
Doors are cap doors
You can capture things
It is Mario Oddysey in 2d because 3d levels would be hard to make
You have to collect a set amount of moons (set by the creator) and then return to the start (the oddysey)
That would be a really fun level style!

I'm glad someone else thought adding creative water, lava, and poison as a block item that can be placed anywhere. I'm hoping they'll do that in Super Mario Maker 3. I also want the Ice Flower.

The feather and doctor Mario powerups gave you something in the bottom left corner
8:20 if you loom in the corner you can see its in your item reserve. If you use the feather it gives you a mid air jump. Idk what the others do but they do work

They actually already have the flying beetles at 10:21 in Mario maker 2 you just have to put wings on a regular buzzy beetle.
Those behave a little differently, though.
The level randomizer is super impressive, it perfectly makes authentic versions of your average SMM level. How does it do it

Now all we need is the ability to give the amiibo characters their own unique abilities. Like Bowser breathing fire or Kirby floating and getting power ups from enemies via inhale for example. That’d be sick.

Mostly just because they called it Mario Maker. Using names similar to what Nintendo uses causes most DMCA claims.

In MM2 if you use a winged buzzy-beetle ypu can ride them into the air. If you make it big it will go downwards.

Yo you should check out Mario Editor and SMM: World Engine! They're really cool! Mario Editor is in a finished state and trying to make level making detailed, and yet it's very easy to use while SMM: WE is like normal SMM but with a few different things, and it's in an unfinished state

It’s like a much much better version of that old Super Mario flash game that you could make custom levels on. I played that ALL the time as a kid.
Edit: I wasn’t sure about the name so I looked it up, but yeah it’s straight up just “Super Mario Flash” (Which is what I remembered it as anyways, just wanted to make sure haha)
