@@angelines29 She is wildly proficient with the violin/fiddle and plays it in all her songs. Some of them don't require much but she is incredible with it and it truly is like an extension of her on stage

Saw her live at the beginning of the summer in Cincinnati at a tiny festival maybe 200 people there. She played a bunch of the new album and everyone's jaws were dropping

I was channel surfing and caught the tail end of this performance. The last time I saw a musical performance on late night TV that impressed and captivated me was when I saw H.E.R. for the first time. Frankly, most of the musical guests I see on shows like this bore the crap out of me. But Sudan Archives is the real deal.
This woman made this year even better with her phenomenal album! Best album of the year. And this amazing performance only proves that Ms Parks is none other but Natural Brown Superstar👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I've been such a fan, so nice to see their star rising
hahahah so relatable! I stopped wearing my wig when I tried to get it on with this dude but was mostly afraid my wig would fall off. Much respect to all the women who actually know how to properly install a wig and do what the f they want to do!
I am a music lover going back almost 6 decades. I don't see much good music these days.
That said, this is different and fascinating. I like it. A bit too much reverb for my tastes in this live performance, but that's the fault of the sound guy (or gal). Not big on electric percussion either, but it worked here. I will have to look deeper into this band.
I'd like to see her perform with Ashley MacIsaac... they can call themselves 'dueling fiddles with killer beats'! 🤞💕

Wow. This tune is a trip around the whole music world. Kinda funny, but in a prior century, my musician circle was trying to fuse these elements of chant, rap, electronic sounds, instrument choices beyond genre (violin because why TH not?) *just because we wanted to hear what The Industry doesn't.*
