This film and The Thing are toss ups for my favorite John Carpenter movie. I've thought about 'crossover' actors for those movies. For example, Frank Doubleday as Palmer in The Thing. Maybe Kieth David as Wells in Assault on Precinct 13? Or, quite a stretch, but Kurt Russell as Wilson in Assault on Precinct 13? Just something to "what if" as you're watching these two awesome movies.
Wow asking me to pick my fav JC movie and soundtrack is like asking a mum and dad to pick there fav child. Right at the start of the video, Austin Stoker's age, date of birth, date/age of death.... Totally slaughtered! I guess I'm the only one with remedial math skills who's been able to figure that out-or at least the first to comment on it? I mean, a couple of years off is understandable, but 13 years off? 🙄
I noticed that too. His date of birth and age given are way off. Plus the age of some of the other actors when the movie was made, they look way older than that. The guy who ran into the police station for help looks alot older than 39.

Frank Doubleday was my acting coach in the 2000's at the Hollywood Court Theatre when I lived in LA. A wonderful, sincere, and caring teacher.
