I love that card too! I actually have my third one on the way now! If I can find it for a decent price, I’m going to snag it. Thanks again for watching and commenting!
Thanks, Warren! I made a pivot in my collection about 2 years ago. I primarily collected baseball before, and still love it, but I’ve gotten a lot of enjoyment out of the research that goes into these cards. Thanks again!
That was a great showcase of cards I have never seen before! Thanks for sharing the cards and the stories behind them. The Italian Ted Williams card was really cool. Thanks for sharing and keep on rocking!
Thanks for watching, Doug! I’m glad you enjoyed! I’ve been looking for a decent copy of that card for a while at reasonable price! I actually just posted a new video of some modern baseball that you may enjoy. Take care!
Thank you, Orlando - that means a lot coming from you. I pivoted with my collection in 2022, and this is just a continuation of that. I was primarily a baseball collector on/off for 30+ years. This is just my new passion. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Orlando - I forgot to mention to check out my first video. It’s the holy grail reveal video. It’s a little rough, but I think you might enjoy it. Thanks again!
Awesome - thanks for the sub! Orlando has given me a lot of support so far. I love those merit cards - super affordable for such an old piece of history. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks, Scott! I’ve really enjoyed searching them out and learning about them. It’s a whole different world from my baseball collection. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Haha They were just part of my background…you’re not the first person to ask about them. I’ll do a future video featuring them. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Amazing pickups! I have been looking for the 1951 Liebig Williams, and the Stollwerck painters set for a reasonable price for a while. The ones that pop up are ridiculously priced. Maybe one day, haha!
Thank you, Sensei! They pop-up every now and then, but they’re tough to get. I’ve seen those ones for outrageous prices - crazy! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
New subscriber here as recommended by @MidLifeCards . I appreciate non-sports cards & yours are doozies 👀 I have a couple 1910 Ogden cigarette cards of billiard players. The Statue of Liberty pedestal was completed in April 1886 and finally, on October 28, 1886, President Grover Cleveland oversaw the dedication of the Statue of Liberty in front of thousands of spectators. ~ courtesy Wikipedia
Fantastic - thanks for the sub! I’m familiar with the T218 set that has some billiards players, but not the Ogden’s - interesting! Also, that’s what I find so neat about the Liberty card - copyrighted 1883…..3 years prior to completion 🤯
Thanks, Eric! I actually didn’t bid at all on those auctions, but I did watch the prices go to the moon - wow!! I do have sone stuff on the way here that I think you’ll enjoy once I get it! I’ll definitely do a video on the U2 cards. I don’t do a lot with music cards, but I dig the 80’s U2 cards. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I love your cards, man! Carlos Baerga- I played Rotisserie baseball back in the day and I remember Carlos being one of my sneaky auction picks and paying off big time. Did you touch on your U2 slabs or was that just background fodder. Good Collecting👍❤️
Thanks, Robert! Carlos was great - I remember feeling like a kid when I got my first in-person auto from him when I was 30 lol. The U2 cards are exactly what you said…they were just part of the backdrop. I’ll definitely do a video on them in the near future. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I got a Tod Sloan Ogden’s Sydney cigarettes card the image of him is so cool, do you have IG, are you from Australia or the US, you seem to have some cool stuff.
That’s super cool - does it look similar to the UK version? I have a J. Reiff (jockey) Ogden Sydney card, but not Sloan. The Sydney ones seem harder to find. I’m planning on doing a short video with a few turn of the century HOF jockeys with Tod Sloan and couple others. I’m from the US and I don’t have IG, but I’ve considered starting one so I can share some other pictures. I’ll let you know if I do it - thanks for watching!
@@Collector.Not.Hoarder now you have a RUclips channel, you should also have an IG account, Just a warning, IG is so addictive I even stop using Facebook now cause of IG.

I love your cards/ post cards! I enjoy how you collect! Making me want to venture out a bit!

Excellent pickups! Enjoy seeing the nonsport cards that you find.

I'm a huge wright bros. Fan!
I don’t have a ton of their cards, but I like the early ones - very cool stuff!
I haven't seen the Hassan auto drivers in years!!!🤯
They definitely don’t show up often, and when they do, they sell relatively quick.
Tom those were such great cards! You know how much I want that 1936 Allen's Flag card....and what size are those trade card binder sheets you have?
Thanks, Dan - I’m still keeping my eye out for another one for you - we’ll find one! I really appreciate you watching and commenting - thank you!
Freaking amazing stuff!
Cesar - I love watching your channel, man! Super genuine and inspiring! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great stuff!
and yes, i believe we did butt heads on those 1908 Stolly's over the weekend!
Can you tell us about those U2 cards?
