    Guitar Play-Along
This easy to follow, absolute beginner level, play-along video for guitar and vocals is in the key of A major and requires a capo on the 2nd fret. Scrolling chord chart format. If necessary, slow the tempo in the settings menu for practice purposes.
    Background
"A Bar Song (Tipsy)" is a song by American singer Shaboozey. It was released April 12, 2024, as the fourth single from his album Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going. "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100. Outside of the United States, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" topped the charts in Canada, Ireland, Norway, and Sweden, and peaked within the top ten of the charts in Australia, Denmark, Iceland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
Shaboozey released "A Bar Song (Tipsy)" in April 2024. The song interpolates J-Kwon's 2004 single "Tipsy". Lyrically, the song is about a narrator who is frustrated from hard work at his job, and takes out his frustrations by drinking alcohol at a bar.
"A Bar Song (Tipsy)" charted at number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs. As it succeeded Beyoncé's "Texas Hold 'Em" at the top, it made for the first time in history that two consecutive Black artists held the number-one position there.
    Lyrics
My baby wanna Birkin, she's been tellin' me all night long
Gasoline and groceries, the list goes on and on
This 9 to 5 ain't workin', why the hell do I work so hard?
I can't worry 'bout my problems, I can't take 'em when I'm gone, uh
One, here comes the two to the three to the four
Tell 'em bring another round, we need plenty more
Two steppin' on the table, she don't need a dancefloor
    Oh my, good Lord
Someone pour me up a double shot of whiskey
They know me and Jack Daniels got a history
There's a party downtown near Fifth Street
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy
    I've been Boozey since I've left, I ain't changin' for a check
Tell my ma I ain't forget (oh, Lord)
Woke up drunk at 10 am, we gon' do this shit again
Tell your girl to bring a friend (oh, Lord)
One, here comes the two to the three to the four
Tell 'em bring another round, we need plenty more
Two steppin' on the table, she don't need a dancefloor
    Oh my, good Lord
Someone pour me up a double shot of whiskey (double shot of whiskey)
They know me and Jack Daniels got a history (way back)
There's a party downtown near Fifth Street (okay, let's go)
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy (at the bar gettin' tipsy)
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy (at the bar gettin' tipsy)
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy
One, here comes the two to the three to the four
When it's last call and they kick us out the door
It's gettin' kind of late but the ladies want some more
    Oh my, good Lord
Someone pour me up a double shot of whiskey (double shot of whiskey)
They know me and Jack Daniels got a history (way back)
There's a party downtown near Fifth Street (come on)
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy (ooh)
Someone pour me up a double shot of whiskey (double shot of double shot of whisk)
They know me and Jack Daniels got a history (me and J.D.)
At the bottom of a bottle don't miss me (Don't miss me)
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy (bar gettin' tipsy)
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy
Everybody at the bar gettin' tipsy
Think I should clean this up before they kicked me out the bar

You can play it without a capo but it will be an F# minor chord. Basically the capo transposed the Em to F#

That’s the dumbest question. It’s because it’s easier to play it like this

Actually it's D/F#......... Which is a d chord with your thumb over the top holding down the low E string on the second fret........ Or if that's too difficult like it is for me I play it with my index finger holding down the low E. G string 2nd fret and B string 3rd fret...... Depending which is easier it can be played either way. Definitely an essential cord that many songs use.
Besides it being a D/F# instead of a D...... The rest is accurate. The song has many tutorials all over youtube. Find one where somebody shows the alternate easier way to play that D/F#......

Im aware and thanks for the great comment 👍. But to make it an absolute beginner level, I've simplified it to a D. I find the change hardly distinguishable to the ear and more enjoyable to play.
