    Wrong hooks, try using the hooks design for that Ned shrimp like the finesse bullet. They work way better.

      @@JfishyYT they also make a mushroom head. I think they called them shroomz. They allow the Bait to sit on the bottom tail up and just move with the current. I’ve had real good luck with them in salt and freshwater.

    Been a freshwater fisherman my whole life!! and recently started using "Ned Rigs" for bass in the great lakes!! work great! (Z-Man are the best! very interested to see em' being used for inshore saltwater species! they're on my list for next trip to Cabala's

    That bird is an Osprey, and they don't have feet, hands, or claws, lol.
    They have "Talons." lol
    They are expert anglers!
    Yeah, don't kid yourself about bait sizes! The ONLY time I prefer smaller baits is when it is really cold, when their metabolism slows way down. When this happens it apparently takes them far too long to digest their prey so they stick to small prey...
    I have found when Porpoise show up, whatever fish they are feeding on heads back to shallow cover. They don't nessacerily stop feeding, they just do it closer to the mangroves where it's too shallow for the Porpoise to chase them. Closer to the mangroves is where I'd be fishing anyway. And NOT for Trout! Though I MAY catch one and put in one for live bait! lol 😮

      @JfishyYT  Месяц назад

      Hahaha I meant osprey! Dude he had a massive trout I wish the camera did a better job at capturing it! I kinda grabbed these lures hoping to hit a sheepshead or snapper since they have smaller mouths! But the trout love it as well 😅 ah okay good to know about the porpoise! As always Will I appreciate the info! Hope you brought in the new year well! Tight lines!! 😁🎣

      Yeah Osprey are cool! I used to have a male that lived in a tall dead pine tree in my back yard. We called him "Big Boy."
      I lived about a half mile from Clearwater Harbor. Every morning by 9am, he would have already gone fishing and returned to his tree. You could hear him sitting up there tearing his fish apart and eating strips of it. He would usually eat about half in the morning and the other half in the late afternoon. Have you ever noticed that once they catch a fish, which was usually a trout, they always turn him head first into the wind so that he is the most aerodynamic!
      I also noticed that they hate my drone! I guess they see it as competition. Sometimes, they would fly right at it! Thankfully, a drone can easily outclimb them as it can climb straight up, whereas birds can't.
      Happy New Years My Brother. 🎉
      May 2025 bring in more and larger fish!

      @JfishyYT  Месяц назад

      @@willcordelo3967 haha glad you never lost the drone to them cause I’m sure if they did get their hands on it they could destroy it!

    I have caught everything from pinfish to tarpon. And I have the proof. Money lure for 2025. Tight lines. I also use the Z-Man ned rig hooks for sheepshead fishing using mud crabs. Caught a 22" sheepie a couple of days ago.

    Don’t believe the story big baits only catch big fish. Son just got back from TX caught many 10-12 inch trout on a 8-10 inch coastal brew soft plastic.

      Wow you know I have heard that trout even the small ones will eat lures same size as them! And I’ve had it happen with smaller ones haha I’ve had baby trout eat my 3in paddle tail! I’ve always thought of trying to match the bait size that’s around which is why I throw the 3 inch because most baits I see are small! I appreciate the info though and the comment!! Tight lines! 😁🎣
