There's no doubt this guy is a better woodworker than myself--and such mistakes wouldn't bother me too much for my own personal collection, after a little touchup that is. And I probably would buy such a piece if I was given the option. Good work, regardless
Dude, you are amazing. Absolutely amazing. I cannot stop watching you try to figure out how many ways you can come up with to join 2 boards together. Your work is brilliant. I wish my father, who passed away 2.5 yrs ago, could see your work. He was a small church pastor who loved woodworking when availability allowed. Thanks for sharing your genius
It's nice how theres a diverse set of languages here! Usually there'd commonly be one or two different ones but so far I've seen four, which is pretty nice!
I thought the cut was intentional. Using wood pucks or wood biscuits (not sure what they are called), in the corner would hide it and look beautiful. Still a beautiful join.
If only you had grabbed the handsaw and chisel instead of the chopsaw. Sometimes less is more when it comes to power and that's why power tools will never fully replace hand tools.
Pretty joint. With a bit of saw dust, woodglue and a good finish you can make those cut mistakes dissappear with ease.

Good work, regardless
Just a bit of stainable plastic wood and some stain
A chisel would have suffice. Not sure why a large saw is needed for a small piece of wood.
Wood puty

POV: you are trying to find an english comment.
Actually yes lol
hey there hahah
Actually you before us
like for every non-english video ever 😂
Bing chilling!
Even with the mistake, it's so much cleaner than any joint I've ever made. 😊
Pencil voice so satisfying.... 👌👌
Hey. Thanks for showing the mistake. I like it when Matthias Wandel shows them too. Nobody's perfect.
“Works with humanity” doesn’t make sense in English and yet still sounds beautiful
@@Flrerebruh on god their translations to english make no sense bro 😂 i try so hard to understand 😂

Measure twice, cut once.
Beautiful work. 🥰
I would have added those extra little cuts to the teo other pieces and made a little key lock piece of wood to make the joints permanent
Thats actually a very great idea
It's a good idea but I don't think the cuts will allow a key fixed to the mitre . They would need to be separate pieces I think 🤔

Bro what did u say?
@@alexvergara6193apparently only 1 word according to youtube
Looks great but you should have did the whole project with the table saw
I can't explain how much I love your YT shorts. No unnecessary text, no unnecessary graphics, and no stupid music. It's just all good woodworking.
Damn, you’re an artist
Beautiful...Unique slip.
Its very pretty. Still waiting for something simpler than a dovetail that compares with its strength. These joints make my mind melt

Can I be a summer student in your work shop! I listen and follow instructions well!!!
Definitely precise 👍You don't see this workmanship everyday.
pure artistry,...regardless...! !
Are those leftover divots okay and just like the “character” of the woodwork, or is it a potential problem?
Very very good work done
Im guessing those extra cuts you pointed at were just a mistake?

"Too perfect woodworking" ???
You're having a laugh 😂😅😂😅😂😅

Saw dust+ glue or putty would fix the minor imperfection easily.
Wow!!!! Increíble 😊
Wood to wood, you have wonderfully placed for craft making.
Yeesh, you made that look easy.....
Chop,or trim saws are great, but the table saw is superior.

I wonder do these joints only look fancy or have any real use? I mean what about strength, stability and structural integrity in real world use?
I appreciate that you're willing to point out flaws instead of trying to hide them

I love when professionals showing their mistakes carefully😅
How can you make your joints so accurate with a pencil? I always use a marking knife, and still end up sometimes with inaccurate fits

Could cut a small bite out of the other side and throw a fastener in those cuts to really lock it up

Where did you get the pencil from, I need one now.
Can you post link to the pencil? I can’t find that thing anywhere

When I saw the thumbnail I was thinking, "Maybe it's a space to apply glue." 😂
hey! what about the drilling holes into the wood and adding a cork thing!
Impressive!

Nice joint. I feel your pain. Next time use a bandsaw.
It was just the right amount of imperfect

the chisel in the box is crying, literally built for that job.

Should of used a hand saw to get rid of that piece of wood, woudlnt of cut into the areas you want to keep
not shown: the hours of sanding trying to get them to fit perfectly lol
beautiful joint and work!
Nothing a little wood filler couldn’t fix
