I love how the 8bit world, the one with the simplest graphics of the game has the most complex music !
I find the 5 seconds songs complex as well, because they're scary as shit for only being 5 seconds loops

I never even noticed this was a full song! The area it plays in is so short, and I always just assumed it was a few looping notes, like the rest of the soundtrack.
I feel like this is the most claustrophobic area in the whole game
you're given the longest and most beautiful song of the entire game, yet you find yourself in the map that takes you the less time to traverse and has little to no noteworthy feature aside of the visuals...

I headcanon that Madotsuki really loves videogames and once played a game similar to the FC world which explains why this song is so upbeat and nostalgic in a way and is also in a longer length than other songs. It's one her happiest memories manifested subconsciously in her dreams
I always felt this song was really sad in the context of the game. Not overtly grim and melancholy like most of the other tracks, but in a more subtle way - like finding a picture of a happy family in the ruins a burnt-down house.
