- Hello everyone! Today I am going to show you the second part of installing a brand new head unit in a Mercedes C300. It provides a very integrated and oem look, similar to the Comand unit, while really updating the interior of your car!

You are my man thank youuu
I just bought this radio, cant wait to install it
How did you get the sound to work?
Hello, good afternoon, how do you put the audio from the screen to the car stereo?
What about in a c-class 180 automatic a CD player in the glove box can you take advantage of the power source that was supplied to CD player
Hello, original stereo bottoms (shut down, next track, radio etc.) and central mouse are they working with this can bus ?
Will it work without original radio? I fitted one but having problems with canbus and havnt got original
Thanks
Can you leave your original radio out? Or does it have to be plugged in
Hi, how are you? A question how to configure so that the stereo outputs the sound and can be heard?
The Ariel lead you pushed back to the left do you not use that lead
Hey man how u doing?
One question… I conected everything right and the display works fine but the main console with the all the buttons even when I turn off the car and take out the key, is still working like reseting all the time.
Any help??
Thanks a lot by the tips and the videos.
How did you get it to fit with the wiring harness
Update: I installed it everything working fine.. I will say feed the main wires to the left side.. Keep the USB on right side.. It will be easier to put inside. Also make sure your wires are secure and connected!
What is the can bus protocol for this car because the steering control is not working
Is there a way to install any streaming services?
Got the sound to work… Make sure all the wires are tightly fit. Still tryna figure out how to put disc player back in too much wires in the back
Is there a radio that hides back into place like the original one ?
Could you do another video explaining/ showing how to do the steering wheel controls?
@@honkeykillaAK47 Hi, how did you solve the sound issue as I have the same problem
Get an aux cable and connect to aux car, make sure you set up the old head unit on aux before removing.
Did you guys fixed the steering wheel controls?
Hello, after install I have a airbag light on, anyone know something about it??? Thanks
Ensure battery is unplugged when installing and you transfer the orange fiber optic cable to the new clip so that all your speakers will work

Hello, i have did what you said, but sounds come from ntg4 radio not the android
@@halamsterdam Same Here. Audio come from ntg4 radio. Any Idea?
@@bounties2101 i have connected with aux cable. Aux cable from mercedes to Android and choose in your original screen the aux output. Now its working
@@halamsterdam OH WoW. I thought into the same direction lately. Gosh, what an effort for audio to work. I will give it try :D
OK AUX Port works. Nevertheless, are you aware of some way to choose AUX over the steering, or the OEM Stereo unit? When pressing Radio, by mistake, on the OEM Stereo Unit the audio stream switches without return to AUX.
My CarPlay and Bluetooth has no sound but the radio comes on immediately and stays on……
Does anybody know how to turn down the brightness on this screen it is bright ASF when I’m driving at night
where did you get those floor
matts
Please how can I get the screen?
How do you control the Volume in Carplay other than with the steering wheel? Is it possible to use the Potentiometer from the original CD unit?
Does it come with CarPlay and how do you use it(like where do you plug in to make it work)
How did you install carplay?
I have this radio I’ve gotten everything to work other than the rear speakers, any idea why? Because the front speakers are working
Check the comments. The admin posted an update on this 10 days ago.
Hi. So the original silver connector that was plugged in the original radio is no longer in use??
did you get an answer?
Isn’t the 2011 a different unit. With flip up screen. Is there a retro fit upgrade to maintain to hidden fold down feature for the 2011 C250. Cheers. All great info.
If you have the OEM flip up screen, you can buy an android decoder to give you Apple Carplay on the standard screen. There are no flip-up android screens if you have the regular (non-flip-up) screen in you W204 though. Hope that helps.
The part where's the video is mute. How to connect the radio antenna. Is what i need. You point at the blue connector but it is connected to the dvd lector? Or connected to the screen itself... it is not clear and i have all connected okay but not radio signal. If you can please help.
Did you connect it if yes how?
Do u need to run power to this unit ? Or will it power up when u plug into the old radio ? Ur video cut out audio when u may have been explaining
Plug N Play
Im wondering the same, some explanation is gone with the audio
Is it possible to buy an adapter to watch the original radio on the radio conversion? To set the time and the same after the battery was disconnected
maybe if you get the other design, where it is basically wide screen, there you can still use the factory ui and controls
also idk why people still disconnect the battery when changing the radio :D... it is better to be sure but completely unnecessary, especially on mercedes cars, where you lose memory of everything around the car
@@AlphaKala The car was at a Mercedes Benz dealership; there is a recall campaign for the airbags in Germany, where I come from. I don't disconnect the battery because of the radio
@@MasterChief-pr6fq exactly, no point
but recalls are something else tho :D
I cant connect Radio kabel !!
I also put a display on my mercedes but the radio doesn't work, do I need the socket for the radio or not?
No need just simply unplug the small radio plug and plug in the head unit
Where did the original screen signal wire connect (the wire with the large rectangular metal plug)? I see you plugged it back into the back of the radio, but did it connect anywhere on the display side?
14:21 shows it plugged back into the stereo side- where did it plug at the other end?
❤
man i cut a random cable im really dumbbbb
How did you wire up the rear camera? Theres a red wire that comes off the yellow av cable its suppose to connect to the head unit wiring. But im not sure where its suppose to wire to. Normally you would wire to a designated reverse wire but on this set up the wires aren’t labeled. Any help would be great!
Only need the red one at the tail end wired to the reverse light, you can check my chrysler 300 video it's the same thing
just wondering after 2 years was this radio worth the purchase? like any issues later in the life of the radio?
I haven't had any issues, it's still working perfectly as day 1
Do you have a link o model of this radio?
Hello, I did the installation and everything works but I have no sounds, what Am I missing?
Same with me
Hi, how did you fix the sound?
1. You should have an aux input in your glove department, 2. you need to get an aux wire that has the red/white wire. 3. Plug the aux head into the aux input then run the other two male wires red/white to your W204 radio and use the female red/white wire. 4. After plugging all your wires go to settings in your W204 and turn the aux ON, sometimes it does it automatically, but check first. And hopefully you should get sound.
@@Obie79 what if I dont have aux in my w204
Does the scroll wheel still work?
No not for me
If you want to make steering wheel controls work you need to setup the canbox
true, i have w204 2010, 4 button wheel with volume + / - are OK working. OD-BZ-B3 canbus.
how do you do that ? Can you elaborate for me ?
Wym?
for its steering wheel control functions ,steps as follows : connect internet first, and then do settings-Car Settings-Factory-000000-CarType Setting-Oudi-Benz-BENZ_U01-ok
please note: please connect the stereo to the Internet before set the CAN type
@@macinasek10000 Can you make a video on this please, I just got my radio unit today, would love to have the steering wheel controls work
Are you also no longer able to access your command menus?
Its for base radio only
Hello. How did you connect the radio antenna?
Pull the green antenna cable out from the back of the car radio/controls and plug the new antenna cable to it
I love how you skipped reinstalling the bottom part haha. I’m having trouble getting the harness to tuck. If anyone has any recommendations then I’d greatly appreciate it.
U get it in all the way? I can’t yet
I did. It was a pain in the ass but I got it. The problem is I’m afraid I have to pull it back out because the radio has static so I need to move the antenna. Sucks
How tho I’m still having trouble
You have to to tuck the harness as far back to the bottom left side as you can. Try to tape or zip tie the wires so it doesn’t move.
Im thinking abt buying the screen. How do you enjoy it? Does it have apple car play?
Got the back up camera installed and it activates when I hit reverse but then about after 5 seconds it goes to a black screen . Any one have this issue?
Delay video setting need to be on auto or off
Same here. Glitches on and off. Anyone have a fix?
@@2657296 you need a signalfilter to have constant 12 v
Where did you wire the red wire from the camera?
Where did you do all the cables (quadlock from main unit and android unit) there is no place behind the mercedes main unit!!!
I don't quite remember but I think you could pull it up quite a bit and tuck it in, or in one of the empty parts in the rear
The CD player can use again "
How?
If you use the aux the cd player works as does the original radio
@@gavindonnelly957how did you get the sound to play
