honestly, i think the way they censored 'bang' was pretty clever and worked effectively.
edit: i didn’t want to comment on the purpose of the censorship and whether or not they should have done it. because it’s british tv that was being broadcast before the watershed, it had to be censored. i just thought it was a clever way to have done it, instead of just blanking it out like they did with ‘threesome’.

to clear it up as much as I can: Anne Boleyn's dad was said to have pushed her (and her sister) into marrying or seducing King Henry for the fame and riches it would bring them, thus using his daughters as a child would use a doll when playing with them. Anne/Millie's dancing is very doll-like, at least at the beginning; as the song progresses, she stops acting like that and stops doing everything that Henry and her father wanted her to do.

her voice isn't exactly pretty, but it's really strong and quirky, and she emotes well, which makes her perfect for the song.
She doesn't have many parts in the song that have her show off her singing ability but there are some and she actually is really good

Whilst this is one of my fave songs and queens from Six and it was performed fabulously, I still wasn't sure why they chose this song as it's not a group song and obviously had to be censored for the One Show. Also, they normally just perform Ex-Wives so that was what I'd been expecting until they posted an update on their Instagram.
But whatever, I loved this performance and it was nice to be able to see some more choreography. Great job

God history based musicals are my personal favourite out of anything else I like.
While the performance is good they had to censor it and honestly they probably would have been better off going with six, i don't need your love or get down because they're all still fun and upbeat like don't lose ur head but they wouldn't have had to deal with censors and could have showed off a bit more, vocally.
With ‘Get Down’ they would’ve had to censor “bitches”

I'm honestly glad they went with something other than Ex Wives or Six to perform live. As great as those songs are, I get sick of hearing them over and over - espeically because the entire soundtrack is so good. Having said that, I agree it was a shame they had to sensor so much, it took away from the playfull cheekiness a bit.

Lots and lots of practice. I can't say for certain but in my experiences dancing in heels, my shoes have always been character shoes. It's possible that their shoes are character heels designed for the show.
