My thought is that PTT was the end of that timeline and now we're going back in time, based on 3:12 in the MV and the midnight festival. The statement "Further, the homage paid to the LOONAVERSE developed so far raises anticipation for the next series of lore that will be released afterwards" from the album description also makes me think maybe BBC are wrapping up this whole chapter of the lore and getting ready to start something new, hopefully in the same Loonaverse. I have a sneaking suspicion they're running out of ways to build on what JJ planned.
@@MoonfallMidnight Album description, not MV description. That's Team Subbits's translation, the original is available on the Yes24 page for the mini album.
My added thoughts is the telescope that Kim lip looks up and saw there all happily dancing, looks like the camera of Chuu in heart attack where she pointed on Yves and Yves is smiling at her
I never noticed the sign that said ‘So What’ on it and that made me wonder if the part about them traveling through the “FREE” is a reference to the gate at the end of the so what mv that said free on it. Also is that where the orange door leads?
2:12 there is "&" on the destination list too. it's not clear in the shot, but the teaser image shows it beside why not? (clock has all the same things that sign has, it's more clear in some photobook shots)
My added thoughts... I notice repeated bright round lights on the forest floor during the day here, mirror reflections maybe? This MV does seem very Choerry focused after all. Also, the MV starts with Olivia Hye dropping her lolly pop then picking it up, but things seem to have changed around her when she rises back up with it. Then thru out most of the MV there are "memories" of prior songs and activities. Finally at the end Heejin is seen (actually?) picking up the pop that Olivia dropped (in the beginning?)... So was this song just a memory?... kinda like Chuu's Heart Attack MV dream with Yves? Loona stuff like that does happen now and then.
There's a couple odd things I noticed here.. first time I saw Choerry dropping the yellow candy I thought it might've been a reference to something, it might be referencing Heejin's music video, where she's playing with a lot of yellow balls and suddenly one falls down.. this might mean that they've constantly been seduced to this place in one way or another, and since Heejin was aware of this, she is the one that gets Olivia out of this 'cicle' by picking up the lollipop herself. Another thing is that the foxes might not be so out of place, since this 'place' seems to be somewhere they might've been stuck in, making me feel like the fox is not supposed to represent just the animal, but the Kumiho, in korean mythology it is a 9 tailed fox spirit, which used to be depicted as benevolent but nowadays is mostly a seductor to absorb human life energy. In conclusion, I feel like this might've been a trap/labyrinth to get them stuck, idk (?)
I noticed that the key has the word "memory" written on the top of it and it has a pink string too so this made me immediately think about Vivi and her lost/corrupted memories. I can't find a reason why it could be in this context tho... Any clue?
I would treat this with the same skepticism as thinking the next comeback would be ViVi-centric after LOONA covered "Love Battery". Blockberry hate ViVi too much to ever really focus on her.
So one of the lyrics says “day and night is the same” The other is “we’ll wake you up” I feel like these are significant. Fire is associated with the Sun and burning things. The moon is important for butterflies as they have phases/stages and as well some use the moon for migration. The fox is a nocturnal animals. So it may be why it is shown. On the other hand though, butterflies are active in the day and sleep at night. So it shows this oxymoron. Butterflies use the moon and are symbolic with the moon, yet are active in the day. Im not sure how to sort all this or make sense of it. But it seems beneficial for the loonaverse
Hi bro thank you for this awesome video about how the lore moves and in my theory that loona haven't reach their exact destination base on the end of the mv :)♡♡♡♡
Just a theory about the text shown at the last part of the mv, in my opinion it could mean that their journey started in the so what era since the word FREE (which is emphasized in the text) is used in the last part of the mv. Also in the so what era there are scenes that they are in a train or the train is shown. Could this mean that their journey started when they burned the moon or something that happened in the so what mv. And is also the time when everything flipped or something like that i'm not really sure.
My thought is mainly that this is after everything, with them destroying these oppressive words and going back in time so they can start again (as seen in Star where they do this ritual to turn back time and also has a lot of similar visuals to this MV in my opinion) the end of the music video and the clock striking twelve is showing how things have changed, with Heejin accepting Olivia instead of her being cast out and the clock striking twelve to show that we are finally moving forwards from here with this being the new normal
The fact that their gonna supposedly travel back in time, do u think musically wise they’ll make more of what we expected from them like the sub units and the synthpop, future bass, alternative RnB, dream pop and unique genre of music?
I don't think they're traveling back in time at all. I also doubt Blockberry or LOONA themselves feel any obligation to stick to a specific style of music. In terms of bright/cute concept, I hope they don't go back in time, because their musical style has been improving. Flip That is a better song than Hula Hoop, and Hula Hoop was a better song than Hi High. But I do hope they do more dream pop and RnB in the future.
I'm not sure if you mentioned it but at 40 seconds in the MV (when Chuu is pointing out of train window), the top right side of the train says "819.22" POSSIBLY HINTING THAT WE COULD GET SOMETHING NEW THIS AUGUST 19TH?????????????? I SURE HOPE SO ATLEAST! EDIT: It also happens to be the last concert date listed for the american tour!
Yes, The original schedule had them finishing in NYC on Aug 19th (I hope it’s special for them with maybe even a late night talk show appearance), but they keep adding performance dates, including 4 more shows in Georgia and Texas after NYC.
Kinda late but when Olivia was holding her candy just before she dropped her candy, she has a “😕” look on her face, is she possibly having flashbacks to eden? Because we know that her times in Eden were not very happy
I’ve found something , you know those really bright pale blue lights in the background ? A track from their album is called “pale blue dot” . But know we are here and I have no idea what it means . So I’m just giving this to you !
Wait so why is hyunjin like wearing pink/purple important. Also thank you so much for the theory I was panicking since I was so early to the music video I couldn’t find any at first 😂
Choerry and HyunJin are supposedly split from the same person. They're the ones who most commonly wear yellow, which is HyunJin's color. It might've been a reach in this particular instance but it felt deliberate that HyunJin was wearing a Choerry-ish color.

Wait what? I didn't see a description this time.

foxes often symbolize the villains/tricksters in Korean mythology, so they can be interpreted as a dark hint as well

The key point of the choreography looks just like a mobius strip, right??? I guess it could be an hourglass, though.
I can’t believe you didn’t point out that the key is “Memory”. This seems like a very important detail to me.
It was 5:30 in the morning, I probably missed some stuff.

maybe "819" are about heejin, choerry and yves memories???
I think it's in reference to 8/19, the debut date of LOONA.
