What if you buy every year 100g of pure gold and you continue doing this for 30 years ? you now have 3kg of gold and that can go up in anytime and the least amount of money it goes up can give you years of salary, if it falls then its still fine you still got 90% of your money.

Look at argentines, they have all their savings in dollar. Even if the dollar goes down, what is left for the Brazilian Real? For the Peso? They will plummet. Gold is selling for about $2,000.00 an ounce. Half an ounce gold goes for about $1,000.00! A tenth of an ounce of gold is going for about $200.00! Nobody on a low fixed unearned income can afford to buy even a tenth of an ounce of gold. Silver on the other hand goes for about $25.00 an ounce, but you'd be lucky to get it for that amount. Sometimes its as much as $30.00 to $33.00 an ounce. My feeling on the matter? Good luck, you're gonna need it!

The only reason they have any value is because people desire it and can exchange it for things of real value, food, clothes, housing, cars, electronics, tools, etc. . . the same as fiat currencies.

I think buying gold and keeping it is a solid principal because it beats inflation, but it is a extremely slow rising investment. It is not something you can cash in for a huge profit because it rises extremely slowly. The time it can be of use is if currencies collapse.
2018 a kilo of gold was 40,000 and now 58,450 this is partly to do with the dollar inflation but in real world term you just gained 18,000 dollars and the rest is tip.

You could have started off with a conservative approach and gradually advance to moderate and then to aggressive if you have to. However, I use the services of an investment advisor Monica Sullivan Javorcic; a regulated broker. I mirror her trades and diversification to my brokerage account via algorithmic trading.

Gold is selling for about $2,000.00 an ounce. Half an ounce gold goes for about $1,000.00! A tenth of an ounce of gold is going for about $200.00! Nobody on a low fixed unearned income can afford to buy even a tenth of an ounce of gold.
Silver on the other hand goes for about $25.00 an ounce, but you'd be lucky to get it for that amount. Sometimes its as much as $30.00 to $33.00 an ounce. My feeling on the matter? Good luck, you're gonna need it!
