Yes, this is technically their debut song as a group. However, some months ago they had a sub unit debut before their debut as a group.
Their song Generation is a BOP. I love that song, it's so catchy. I wonder why that song didn't blow up in Korea.
a bit of context about this group if anyone's curious (although i bet most people watching already know so this is more for aaron):
*== general facts ==*
• they're meant to be an almost entirely "fan-voted" group, in the sense that through their cosmo app fans vote for title tracks and sub-unit formations
• the sub-units are meant to be for *one release only* with the exception that if one makes it super big (like 100k album sales) then they might release more music, so slightly like the nct u concept
• during the year, they'll promote entirely in these temporary sub-units (again, chosen by fans) and solos
• only at the beginning of each year they'll release a full-group album with all the members who've been revealed up until the year ended - that being said this is their first full-group release with ot10 (2 members who were revealed in 2023 didn't make it in this album)
• they have 12 members revealed right now (only 10 in this song/album) but they'll eventually grow to be 24!

• previous to this release, one sub-unit had already debuted in 2022 (acid angel from asia) with "generation" - only 8 members had been revealed at the time and fans were given snippets of 2 title track songs to divide the members into equal 4-member sub-units, but the other (+(kr)ystal eyes) has yet to debut
• this track (rising) was chosen by fans in a tournament via their app, snippets of 8 songs in total were revealed day by day in pairs and fans voted for the one they wanted to move on until after one week of voting there was a winner

(this is just a silly little detail that made me really happy)
if you notice how the mv starts, 4 members are at a bus stop (sub-unit acid angel from asia who has already debuted), they're texting 4 other girls at the building (sub-unit +(kr)ystal eyes who has yet to debut) and then lastly 2 more girls are shown arriving at the dance studio (S9 and S10 who don't have units to debut in yet)
idk the way they made everyone from the units meet up together with kaede and dahyun just made my heart super warm

tripleS (also known as Social Sonyo Seoul) in short SSS, is a rotational girl group between unit, solo, group including 24 members revealing them every month there's 12 of them rn but only 10 in the song

Sorry to say this, but members reveal it isn't a monthly thing, The shortest gap between members' reveal was 3 weeks, and the longest is 8 weeks, so there's no fix schedule on that part

The way they're adding members. They are literally giving me NCT vibe.
tripleS is gonna be a 24 member group. The members will rotate every comeback. Essentially, there will be sub units. There are 2 sub units so far. One unit, tripleS AAA(Acid Angels of Asia) just debuted back in Oct 2022 with the title track 'Generation'. The other unit is +(KR)ystal Eyes that will debut soon. There are 12 S(members) so far that has been revealed. The members were revealed every 2 weeks. They have an ongoing series on their yt channel called 'Signal'. All of their stuffs, behinds, dorm reality, and member reveals are in that series. This is all I can share with regards to tripleS.

The members have been doing a daily video since the first member S1 was announced 9th May 2022.
They added members up to S8 at roughly one member every two weeks.
(S7 is BIBI's younger sister)
Fan are treated to lots of member interactions and they've grown a large fan-base.
Currently they have over a million RUclips subscribers.
Two sub-units Acid Angels from Asia (TripleA) and (KR)ystalEyes were formed.
TripleA released a single "Generation" at the end of October which did well. (KrE will reportedly release a single soon.)
Meanwhile two more Korean members were added - giving the 10 in this video.
Ages 14 to 22.
The song was chosen by a fan knockout ballot out of 8 possibles.
The company, Modhaus, say they will produce a "Full roster" video each year.
Full roster could be 24 members.
This year we've had two new Japanese based members join.
They've been doing most of the daily videos whilst the Seoul girls release and promote "Rising" and their album "Assemble".
And this week they're all 12 together in Seoul - potentially allowing for the forming of a third "group of four".
