Beaumont USD Starlight Elementary Amazing Shake 2023

Congratulations to Toni Oluwabusuyi, Richa Lamsal, and Isabella Smith on winning first, second, and third place in the Starlight Elementary School "Amazing Shake." In March, all three students will compete in the National Amazing Shake competition in Georgia!
The Amazing Shake is a competition started by the Ron Clark Academy and adopted by our schools to help students develop confidence and professional skills. The event took place at Starlight Elementary School on January 26 and 27. Local business and community partners volunteered their time for the two-day competition, offering their expertise throughout the different rounds to our students. Even students from the Dual Language Immersion Program from Beaumont High School helped with the event by interviewing students in English and Spanish!
