Years ago I saw evanescence live and it was basically amy and a piano. The whole crowd was awe struck and silent the whole time. It was like being taken to another planet!
I come bearing some Red fun facts *The guitarist (Anthony Armstrong) and bassist (Randy Armstrong) are twins. *The Armstrong twins have known the singer (Michael Barnes) since grade school *When on tour about a decade ago, the band’s tour van got into a serious accident, crashing into a guard rail(no one was seriously injured). *A lot of their music videos are actually connected, in order;Darkest Part, Feed The Machine, Release The Panic, and then The Evening Hate. (I’m not sure where Gone fits in at, maybe before Darkest Part?) *The name “Red” refers to the blood of Christ (kinda cheesy but interesting nonetheless). Now onto your regularly scheduled recommendations Demon Hunter- I Play Dead, Artificial Light, Someone to Hate, Not I King 810 - Braveheart, Trauma Model, Fat Around The Heart, murder murder murder Red- Release The Panic, Darkest Part, Evening Hate, Feed The Machine This is basically a heavier version of Evanescence but, Mechina- The Horizon Effect
It was the 2000's bro... The best decade for rock music (Linkin Park, Evanescence, Sum41, Green Day, Avril Lavigne etc etc and so many more). That era is never coming back but i feel blessed to live through it.
Ankit Dadoch no offense, because a lot of good music came out in the 2000’s but I think you need to do a study of the rock music in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Each decade had there own amazing rock artists. And most of the most influential and iconic artists came from the 60’s and 70’s.
Wendy Dotson I understand totally ... I guess it’s just a matter of opinion.. I’d like to be more inclined to the bands of my interest in this subject though
I went to high school with the lead singer. I was even in choir class with her. All the jocks took choir as an easy elective, don’t judge me...😂 It was a private school in Little Rock Arkansas called Pulaski Academy.
Nadia Gnl she was was a senior and I was a sophomore so I didn’t know her that well. But she wasn’t gothic at all. Her look was more of a skater look than anything. She had brown hair and not a lot of makeup. She seemed sorta quiet and shy for the most part. Most of her friends were the artsy kind. But she was nice and very talented. We even sang a song in choir that she wrote and composed. When the teacher was out sick or something, instead of a sub, Amy would teach the class.
“The lyrics are about coming out of a bad relationship, and when you're at the end of your rope, when you're at the point where you realize something has to change, that you can't go on living in the situation that you're in.” The video concept is the band performing the song live, while spectators from the audience turn into zombies and water in which lead singer Lee drowns, illustrating the song's lyrics of sinking
Shes amazing live too, she had this big ass piano onstage and did a rendition of Korns falling away from me...fucking amazing performance, back in 2012
Evanescence Songs: Imaginary Call Me When Your Sober My Immortal The Only One Lost in Paradise Weight of the World Whisper Sweet Sacrifice Your Star Like You *this isn't in any kind of order
Gonna add "Hello" (not to be confused with Adele's song) to this pile right here. *adds it to the pile* Also if you are into this type of music, a band called Within Temptation is another good one to look up. If you want something a little harder, then maybe Lacuna Coil.
@@ravensherwood9102 Sweet. Just was throwing out bands that might peak Alex's interest since he's down for trying just about any band's music. I'm not one to do the "React to X song by X band." unless it's for a specific reason like Christopher Lee and Rhapsody of Fire.

@@ChickenMccZoe They are, as well as My Immortal. They're all about Amy's little sister dying when she was young, and how she handled it. "My Immortal" is about her lingering grief from the loss. "Hello" is about how she reacted when she first found out. And "Like You" is about how she's sometimes wished she could join her sister.
End of the Dream is lyrically outstanding as well. Like You will always be a personal favorite of mine as I can truly relate to it.
I said it once and I'll say it again react to broken by Seether ft. Amy Lee
Reaction channel's don't show Seether much love and I can't understand why. One of my favourites. Not overly technical but good music.
Came to the comments just to find this request and like....
Seether is great but there is a lot of better ongs than Broken
Inr seether is a great band
Yes he should react 2 that
You finally reacted to some Evanescence!! That is so Awesome!! React to:
Call me when you're sober
My Immortal
Bring me to life
Everybody's Fool
Seether - Broken ft. Amy Lee
Tourniquet
Sweet Sacrifice
Lithium
Yeees👏🤘
I’m almost 50, and still love Evanescence. Always have, always will. Their song My Heart is Broken is awesome.
are you the same man who has been in rammstein concerts for 7 times?
I’d suggest “Bring me to Life”, which was kinda their big break, and “Tourniquet”, which is one of their very best.
Phil Grey yes!!! Tourniquet is my fav.
Agreed, first time I heard Tourniquet I replayed it many times.
Yes, Tourniquet is easily their best song!!!
It's all from the very same (first album) so this song would also be apart of the breakthrough
Torniquet was always my favorite!
You want more evanescence? Listen to "Bring me to life"
Other recommendations, "I miss the misery" by Halestorm
And "Throne" by Bring Me The Horizon.
Everything off Fallen's really good.
@@musicexpert6288 I agree.🤘
Yes throne
SnellySuperFarts For Stevie Wonder’s Eyes Only
@@a.cauilan4632 Love Bring Me The Horizon, it's a shame their newer stuff isnt great.
When you yelled "Don't jump in!" reminded me of myself when ever I watch a horror movie lol.
HER VOICE!! Of course you would love her... it’s impossible to don’t like her voice and the whole package Amy Lee is... she was my first platonic love, because every time she sings, she makes me feel her!!! ❤️
EVANESCENCE - My Heart is Broken
Even better vocals in my opinion
Stark Legend Amy has only gotten better with time :)
Yes absolutely
This!!!! Yesssssssss!!!!!
I had chills the entire time you were listening. She is a goddess
"My nipples were hard" 😂😂😂
Lmao
Mine too hhahah
@@michaelpeller7660 love hard nips
LMAO
How have you never heard Evanescence???? Can't go wrong with them! Almost everything is awesome!
1:59 “drowning in you” with the pitch change and the backup singer was just *chefs kiss*
Please react to Evanescence's Bring Me Back to Life, Immortal, Lithium, My Heart is Broken, Hello, and/or Imperfection!
broken by seether
Hello is amazing
Synthesis album is amazing too
Even in death and Lies are my favorites before she was famous.
Add tourniquet, sweet sacrifice, imaginary, and good enough.
Amy Lee did an acoustic version of “Freak on a Leash” with Korn on MTV Unplugged. That was pretty cool
Your reaction is so pure, it’s great. “Whisper” is a song I’d recommend to react to by them, and “Sweet Sacrifice.” I could list off many more, but those two are quite amazing.
Amy: can i sing in ur band
guys: we play vry loud
Amy: hold my beer
This video was in my recommendations. I saw the word EVANESCENCE. Now I am here. I'm glad I clicked!
React to Evanescence - Everybodys Fool . Great song👍
Please keep reacting to Evanescence. I'd suggest Lithium and Sweet Sacrifice.
Speak to me is another great song, she wrote it for her son and it is absolutely beautiful.
Sean Noel indeed speak to me is great song, lost in paradise is nice too
Sweet Sacrifice is more impressive live in my opinion!
Years ago I saw evanescence live and it was basically amy and a piano. The whole crowd was awe struck and silent the whole time. It was like being taken to another planet!
Do seether featuring Amy lee (singer from evanescence) song broken. Great song.
I come bearing some Red fun facts
*The guitarist (Anthony Armstrong) and bassist (Randy Armstrong) are twins.
*The Armstrong twins have known the singer (Michael Barnes) since grade school
*When on tour about a decade ago, the band’s tour van got into a serious accident, crashing into a guard rail(no one was seriously injured).
*A lot of their music videos are actually connected, in order;Darkest Part, Feed The Machine, Release The Panic, and then The Evening Hate. (I’m not sure where Gone fits in at, maybe before Darkest Part?)
*The name “Red” refers to the blood of Christ (kinda cheesy but interesting nonetheless).
Now onto your regularly scheduled recommendations
Demon Hunter- I Play Dead, Artificial Light, Someone to Hate, Not I
King 810 - Braveheart, Trauma Model, Fat Around The Heart, murder murder murder
Red- Release The Panic, Darkest Part, Evening Hate, Feed The Machine
This is basically a heavier version of Evanescence but,
Mechina- The Horizon Effect
+1 for King 810
Yes! Thank you for adding Demon Hunter!!
It was the 2000's bro... The best decade for rock music (Linkin Park, Evanescence, Sum41, Green Day, Avril Lavigne etc etc and so many more). That era is never coming back but i feel blessed to live through it.
Best decade was 60s idiot
Ankit Dadoch no offense, because a lot of good music came out in the 2000’s but I think you need to do a study of the rock music in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Each decade had there own amazing rock artists. And most of the most influential and iconic artists came from the 60’s and 70’s.
Wendy Dotson I understand totally ... I guess it’s just a matter of opinion.. I’d like to be more inclined to the bands of my interest in this subject though
Linkin Park....truly unique sound
Avril Lavigne....queen of diversity (rock, punk pop...you name it she can do it)
First time I heard Evanescence I was 6, and I'm 23 now
Your a baby you sent that a couple years ago but I’m 35
I went to high school with the lead singer. I was even in choir class with her. All the jocks took choir as an easy elective, don’t judge me...😂 It was a private school in Little Rock Arkansas called Pulaski Academy.
I use to listen to them on a Benton radio station late st night. They use to play Imaginary.
Matthew Moore how was she back then? :)
@@matthewmoore5840 you're lucky to know her. She has the voice of a goddess and she's absolutely great.
@@seannoel8615 with autotune is everything possible...

Alex: *Damn that's a lot of tears*
“The lyrics are about coming out of a bad relationship, and when you're at the end of your rope, when you're at the point where you realize something has to change, that you can't go on living in the situation that you're in.”
The video concept is the band performing the song live, while spectators from the audience turn into zombies and water in which lead singer Lee drowns, illustrating the song's lyrics of sinking
She’s remarkable in so many ways. Voice of an angel and an ethereal beauty that seems almost otherworldly. She’s stunning in every way.
She sounds the same in concert!! It is freaking amazing!
She is hands down one of the most talented and beautiful women I have ever heard. I bought their first CD when I was in Kuwait in early 2003.
Try Within Temptation. For Evanescence I'd suggest you 'My Immortal'
The song "The Promise" from the elements live album is such an insanely amazing version of the song.
Diego - bienhecho angels and Mother Earth are good ones
Both yes!!!!!
I'm a die-hard Ev fan addicted to Ev reaction videos. I watch them all to see the exact moment RUclipsrs become fans.
Shes amazing live too, she had this big ass piano onstage and did a rendition of Korns falling away from me...fucking amazing performance, back in 2012
dannydemonic their rendition of thoughtless was amazing as well and heart shaped box
She did? I've never seen that. I know she did Thoughtless back in 2004, but I don't remember her doing any other Korn songs live.
@@ilovebabyyoda712 yes she did, hell maybe it was something from Follow the Leader album now that I'm thinking about it...lol
@@puredisgust It wasn't Thoughtless?
@@ilovebabyyoda712 100% sure it wasn't thoughtless, something from Follow the leader
"Dont jump in!" Made my day 😂
1) Lithium
2) Broken (by Seether ft. Amy Lee (the lead singer))
I’ll never forget back in ‘03 when I found out who evanescence was when I was at their concert. Undeniably great performance
React to "Halestorm" - I Miss The Misery!!🤘🙏💟💟
YES! Agreed.
HELL YES!
Oh most definitely!!!
Hell to the YES!!!!
Yes yes yes
Evanescence Songs:
Imaginary
Call Me When Your Sober
My Immortal
The Only One
Lost in Paradise
Weight of the World
Whisper
Sweet Sacrifice
Your Star
Like You
*this isn't in any kind of order
Raven Sherwood hell yeah! could not agree more. Imaginary is such an underrated song.
Gonna add "Hello" (not to be confused with Adele's song) to this pile right here. *adds it to the pile*
Also if you are into this type of music, a band called Within Temptation is another good one to look up. If you want something a little harder, then maybe Lacuna Coil.
@@Nightdominia I've listened to both. Lacuna Coil is another favorite of mine.
@@ravensherwood9102 Sweet. Just was throwing out bands that might peak Alex's interest since he's down for trying just about any band's music. I'm not one to do the "React to X song by X band." unless it's for a specific reason like Christopher Lee and Rhapsody of Fire.
My Heart is Broken
More Evanescence, Everybody's fool or Lithium. :)
The standard and epitome of a woman's rock vocal can never be matched by her. In fact, of any singer out there.... She is incredible and pure rock star material. Sounds exactly the same live as on the track..... unmatched anywhere! Whoooooooo!
Watching you reacting to my favourite bands (evanescence, nightwish, jinjer, within temptation etc) your reactions are so pure I love it. So many people who aren’t that into metal/goth rock react in an almost disrespectful way but I love how much you love these!
No but wait... How have you never heard this before? Especially THIS ONE?
Nemo by nightwish - should definitely have a look at that :)
I've been listening to that song for nearly 18 years and it still gives goosebumps. Amy Lee is incredible 😍
Evanescence
"Bring Me To Life"
Need to hear that.
Badass song.
Even better than this one.
This was good.
"Bring Me To Life" is just better.
Her voice on THAT song?
Will blow your mind even more.
(Paul McCoy of 12 Stones is the male voice on that song.)
Very cool.
Truly a must listen, dood.
There is a video version.
Do not watch any live versions first.
Just my two cents.
Everything Amy Lee sings is great.
But, definitely check out Halestorm too.
Lzzy Hale is unbelievable dood.
Another amazing singer.
She does a live duet with Amy Lee of Evanescence that is just gorgeous.
Lzzy's tribute to her fans, "Break In", will break your heart.
Broke mine.
So hard.
(And they have a great song with a badass title:
"You Call Me a Bitch Like It's a Bad Thing."
Coolest title ever, dood.)
You’ve probably heard Bring Me To Life by them, everyone has, that’s probably how you might think you recognise them
definitely he watched the old crappy daredevil movie
Ma fellow maggot🤘🏼
I think this song was used somewhere to, I can't remember where though. A film or something.
Amy Lee's feature on Korn's Freak on a Leash unplugged is an ABSOLUTE MUST WATCH
1:54 I have heard this song at least a hundred times. I was and still am an Evanescence fan but that part still gives me goosebumps EVERYTIME!
