💓Unless people make a comment or read your comments they will not know you sell these products💓I only see this coz it appeared as I was about to ask a question
Reading here in the comments, I'm not the only one who just recently found your channel and is binge watching old videos! Your family is so lucky! You all are so awesome! I always wanted to live on a farm!
So, I think this is the first episode that you go around and start introducing everyone, and I think in the next episode is where you start saying that "we can grow almost everything on the farm, but this channel" Kind of cool being a new subscriber for a bit, to go back and watch all the beginning videos and see where everything really started to kick off. Like when you finally got close to 1k subs XD Sure have come along way, and hope you guys just keeping trucking along ! Glad to be a part of all the fun XD
Thank you for youtube for recommending you all. I went all the way to the first video and have binging your videos since. Love everything about you all.
we are super lucky a ranch next door is a bee ranch so we have super amounts of bees for our produce pollination and lots of lady bugs every year. we grow white, red and purple grapes for jellies and jams reg and sugar free
2:16 “Joel is left handed... and that’s just not right”.... hahaha! Love his glare of death. I was waiting for a few cucumbers to come flying at the camera. 😆
I re watched the intro about 20x not gonna lie had me crying 😂 . Were having some crazy fires down here in Colorado and we had some hail damage on our lettuce, cabbage, and some of our peppers gotta keep moving forward though. Keep up the good work !
Good afternoon Andrew. I was in the store yesterday with my husband Bill. We are the couple from Phila. It was a pleasure to meet you and your dad. The produce we bought was excellent. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. BUH BYE
Only found your channel a couple of days ago and just about watched everything. It's great seeing veg farmers on youtube, just wish we had your weather over here in Scotland. As I have to grow all my peppers, cucumbers and squash in polly tunnels and green houses
I’m binge watching your vids and enjoyed every one of them. Great family time and so nice that everyone has a smile on their face. Quite an operation too!
I LOVE when you share veggie knowledge. Like female cukes or when dad talked about corn. I told my sister about it over dinner the other night. We grew up on a small farm in KS but had no idea the science behind it all
That was so interesting on the winds coming up from the south. Never thought of that. The bee 🐝 population is critical for our survival!! Your Dad would be so fun to work with!! Nice family!! Great video thanks 😊
My name is Dad, I grows the pickle I moves the leaves, I think they tickle The straps forgot while i fills the basket No straps for dust I blows my gasket No time to waste, wait for lunch Get them peppers they in a bunch On my knees I bites me shirt Under my nails oh look there's dirt When I am hot I wears the bucket No breaks for farmers, can't say f..it Dad talks turkey, grabs a feather Makes us work in every weather he parks the truck, you're in a tree Dads makes his point .........."It's all about me!"
The black plastic on the the ground. Can it be used again. Up here in Manitoba, Canada we are the same way when we get lots of South wind. Our potatoes in the garden were covered with potatoe bugs .Never saw them that thick in my life. Thank you for the video update eh.
Thanks so much for these uploads, they're fantastic! You're teaching me a lot about what might work for me in future, and it's greatly appreciated. While I've been working my way through your vids I've been wondering if you can recommend any that give an overview of how your farm works. Like the size of area you farm, the variety of crops, how many people are involved, etc. I'd love to see an aerial view too, even if it's just a Google Earth screenshot. I wish I was nearby so I could get some drone footage for you. If you haven't done any drone shots before, and don't have access to one, maybe you could give a shout out to your viewers in the hope that someone in your area can help. Cheers!
You guys do any beekeeping to help pollinate your crops? Also what’s the purpose of the baskets? You guys have them overflowing regularly. Would it not be more convenient to have larger baskets or is it some kinda standard? As always, good to see all of your happy faces
We do not, we have considered getting into it although we are very busy so it wouldn’t be easy. Those red baskets are standard 1/2 bushel. We use it as a measurement system to know how much we have if each crop. It works for us very well and I understand the way it looks can be confusing haha
Fairly new subscriber here and I've enjoyed going through your earlier material to see how you have evolved and settled into your personal style. I enjoy very much seeing how you do things and the behind-the-scenes, just everything about your videos. Keep 'em coming! Thanks!
Sorry if you already answered this, but I just became a subscriber and would love to know where you guys grow. Is love to visit your store for some of those amazing peppers
would love to see videos how planting beds are prepared for planting, the planting methods etc, that would be also very interesting!!! greetings from Wuerselen, Germany 🤗
We have many neighbors who raise bees and we do our best to respect their hives by spraying only when absolutely necessary. People don’t like to hear that, but their gardens aren’t their livelihoods.
Thanks for the info. I understand having to use pesticides, herbicides and weed killers when necessary. Happy to hear you keep it to a minimum. Love the site and the videos. You are the only channel I have found so fat that shows growing stuff that we eat on a daily basis. I love fresh sweet corn and the peppers look fantastic. I imagine you grow squash and zucchini as well. Keep up the great work.
William Geiser Thank you for stopping by! I want people to see that farming is not all corn and beans. Also I want people to see they can still get vegetables from family farms.
@@theveggieboys it's not as hard as it seems and the hives can be as much or as little work as you have time. The down side is the equipment you need, but I've made all of ours and it's not hard especially if you have any commercial kitchen equipment.
"We call them Joels," that was funny. Sorry Joel, my husband is lefthanded too. As always spending time with your family makes me smile. Thanks for sharing.
Any rule on cross pollination of cuke plants? I have rows of burpless field, and pickling cukes on 60" centers and i think they cross pollinated on the two closest rows.. I've got some straaange looking field cukes and picklers that taste like candy. They sell.... but it's like a new breed.
When the borders open eventually and we get to travel abroad will definitely stop by your farm to meet yous and Pop,you should do overnight stay at your farmhouse Air bnb for subscribers .I'm sure you will be superstar farmers.
Even though they didn't pollinate correctly they still take nutrients from the plant. We take them off so the plant can put its energy into producing more cukes.

My wife has family in Scotland, we’ve never been sadly. I’ve heard it’s beautiful there! I’m glad you enjoy
Very educational video and entertaining!
Its great to see your channel growing.
The sheer quantity and variety of stuff you grow is mind-blowing!
I’m binge watching your vids and enjoyed every one of them. Great family time and so nice that everyone has a smile on their face. Quite an operation too!
Love watching you all pick the vegetables and the fun you have. Your videos are great; never boring.
❤️🚜🍆🌽🥦🥒❤️
Dad is a happy soul
Love this family. Picking vegetables by their hands and they are so energetic. ❤❤❤❤
I envy you guys, Aloha from FIJI ISLANDS.
Yummie nice veggies.
Glad I found your channel. I am so jealous watching you pick those dozens of peppers and tomatoes from 1 bush!!! WOW
Because of size, bumble bees are better pollinators than honey bees. I use both in my greenhouses.
Loving the videos so keep them coming. It would great if you had a drone I bet the view from above is spectacular.
Another great video thanks
I love your pretty pink baskets
I LOVE when you share veggie knowledge. Like female cukes or when dad talked about corn. I told my sister about it over dinner the other night. We grew up on a small farm in KS but had no idea the science behind it all

It is great to see all of your family members are working on the farm that's awesome

These get funnier every episode. Keep up the good work.

Great Awesome video

Sorry if you already answered this, but I just became a subscriber and would love to know where you guys grow. Is love to visit your store for some of those amazing peppers
North east Pennsylvania
We used shovels yup shovels! Priceless
would love to see videos how planting beds are prepared for planting, the planting methods etc, that would be also very interesting!!! greetings from Wuerselen, Germany 🤗
Love the videos! Keep them coming!!!
The peppers were gorgeous. What do you do to support your pollinators? Are you mostly pesticide free?
We have many neighbors who raise bees and we do our best to respect their hives by spraying only when absolutely necessary. People don’t like to hear that, but their gardens aren’t their livelihoods.

You have some really good looking crops!
Daddy Ochs and the acorns. Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. Take that show on the road. Nice video. Do y’all have you own beehives?
We don’t have hives although we have been considering it.

Good looking peppers!
Another great video.
do you plant anything around the fields to attract bees?
Could watch your guys all day 🥰 thanks again from Australia 🇦🇺
Your videos are so cool I’m sure you will grow this channel have my likes
Your Dad is getting better and better at being on camera. He used to hate the camera.
More grandpa, less of Joel's legs! Hahaha!
Green giant for real.
What goes into growing those peppers outside. Pest pressure and what not. Do you have to spray a lot
We don’t spray our peppers much at all, only when absolutely necessary. We have trouble with deer and crows
TY.
Any rule on cross pollination of cuke plants? I have rows of burpless field, and pickling cukes on 60" centers and i think they cross pollinated on the two closest rows.. I've got some straaange looking field cukes and picklers that taste like candy.
They sell.... but it's like a new breed.
We only raise a few burpless and we don’t have much trouble. Maybe your onto something
woooooooooooooooo 8.11k and 940 thumbs up way to gooooooooooo
Always enjoy the videos
I wonder what the white peppers taste like? 🤔👍
When the borders open eventually and we get to travel abroad will definitely stop by your farm to meet yous and Pop,you should do overnight stay at your farmhouse Air bnb for subscribers .I'm sure you will be superstar farmers.
Poblanos, like beer, are proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. (Ben Franklin, sort of.)
Hi! I am new to your channel! I live in NE Pa. Where is your farm store?
Andrew- do you keep the " bad" veggies for the family or sell at a discount to customers?
We have a MASSIVE family so we usually just eat a lot of them haha
Hi from Ireland - love the channel - keep the the vids coming
Hello from Pennsylvania!
Hey guys another great video. Where in North East PA is your farm?
We don’t give out exact location, but close to the poconos
Nice, I grew up in the Lehigh valley
💓Ps... You can stuff sweet peppers they taste delicious 😋💓
Do you leave the ones that weren’t pollinated correctly on the vine. Thanks love watching
Even though they didn't pollinate correctly they still take nutrients from the plant. We take them off so the plant can put its energy into producing more cukes.
What you call long hots we call chilies. In colorado we have a festival just for chilis. Last year a friend of mine sold 88000lbs in 3 days.
Wow that’s a lot of peppers
How do you keep the vines from dying when you pick your cucumbers????????
Boy did I hate picking pickles.... Peas now that is the good stuff.
Is that all dry farmed? Any fertilizer and sprays used?
Do you raise your own bees ? Do you move them around to different fields?
We do not, although we have many in our area that do. We are also blessed to have many wild hives.
I don't know if I heard it.....but where is your family at? By three way I love your program here😊
Learn alot. Wear are you at in pa. I near harrisburg
👍👍👍👍👍🥰
Do you use the corn vines to feed the cows with. Really good video
Yes we do
Picky...Picky...Picky 👍👍👍👍👍
You guys are awesome
What do people use hot longs for?
Nice to see your veggie farm and your vlogs.. lots of love from India
Joel you go with your bad self haha
I have not seen any ant beds/hills along your veggie rows.......is it that you don't have red ants or have you treated the soil?? Thanks
Funny when joel reacted to andrew naming a veg 'joels'...they just love u joel, so do i❤❤
Hardworking family mashallah 😍
Tell Dad that the pickle plant doesn't make pickles. It makes cucumbers. People make pickles.
