Flickering reality might be my favorite flavorful strategy out of these new detachments yet. It is likely to do nothing but I think that statistically the better the unit you’re targeting with it is the more likely it is to be useful. Like I think it’s more likely to do something useful against a custody shield captain than a space Marine captain.
Why do you say ficklefire is good on flamers? They can already fall back and shoot. I saw it more as something you use when you have enemies stuck in a pink horror mass
I think it is most useful on chariots, as they are not monsters/vehicles but mounted. And by the wording of it, you can fire at someone other than the unit you are engaged with safely. (especially when fighting is enough to deal with them, or you have someone else for that)
