If you used a piece of plastic for the bottom piece and covered it with the same twine, your box could be washed when dust collected...I'd suggest a shower sprayer and a little rack to dry and drain it on for convenience...Or if you have a prayer on your kitchen sink that works too. I think yours is the best idea for plastic lids so far! The box turned out good enough to sell even. It's a great way to recycle garbage for the price of twine, and again, one can even make a profit selling them. Good tip!

For those referring to time or patience, most of the prep work can utilize less productive time like when watching tv, talking on phone or riding in a car. Gramma would knit n crochet n craft up a storm in those spare moments! 😊
Exactly! If you cut the hole in the cap immediately after using the bottle before you add it to the collection, that job is done already before you start to wrap and assemble. 😊

Легче крючком обвязать эти кольца, быстрее, удобнее, а потом сборка, но крючок необходим, иначе будете копаться долго и нудно, пока терпение не лопнет

That idea you are creating...would be a beautiful bird cage....that idea would be the body....and a real thin screen assembled inside....with sticks wrapped for their swing..

Using a soldering iron or the hot tip of an old glue gun to hollow out the center of the caps would be so much easier than those tiny little scissors.
I was thinking the same thing. I'm too clumsy to cut through bottle caps. I'd lose a finger!

Sim eu concordo. Quando eu fizer isso, vou fazer o fundo igual ao topo e colar e amarrar em volta (igual aos lados) para prendê-lo. Depois vou colocar uma base de papelão dentro para que fique uma base sólida.
