As Malaysian who always peeled their own garlic, here's some tips. First, separate the bundle of garlic, then cut the bottom of each garlic. Put all garlic into the bowl and shake until all the layers are peeled off 🙌 But for me, after cutting the bottom part of garlic, I used hands to peel off the layers cause it is much easier. As an Indian, we peel are own garlic everday here's a trick to peel them easily 1) first we use something heavy stone / or your palm to put pressure on the garlic to separate each of them 2) then cut top and button off 3) soak them in water for 15 mins all the peel will come off easily with hands Hope it helps 😇💜

My mom teaches me when cutting the edge of garlic you pull the garlic so when you cut it you also peeling it at the same time. (tips make sure you cut it properly, I often got yelled at by her cause i didnt😂)
