@@miikauraI’m gonna choose to believe that in the sims you don’t have to be a cop for years in order to become a detective (acab ofc but detectives as a concept are cool, it’s so weird to me that they’re considered the same field,, like,, law enforcement and detective work are so different why did they get clumped into one job)
@@wednesdaysartcastle9018bc the law enforcement is handling investigation processes? Law enforcement includes discovering, deterring and punishing crime? Most investigations are about huge drug operations and stuff anyway, not like serial killer stuff (serial killers wouldn’t exist without police either, it’s literally a concept made up by the fbi).

Just a little tip:
When working from home, there are certain job tasks your sim should complete in order to be paid the full amount for the work day. You have more than the normal work hours time to complete those tasks, usually until the next work shift starts. These task can be found under the work section, at the very bottom, below the skills you need for a promotion. They are specific things you need to do for the job, like certain interactions with other sims or with the computer. Also they will change each work day. Completing these tasks will give you money and quite a lot of work progress so I'd say, it's quite worth it. (They usually don't take long to do either) Good luck!
The same goes for children who are in school. They have things they need to do,too. Most importantly homework or their grades will drop.

Taro is often in desserts. Winter melon tea is a traditional Asian herbal tea that is for "getting rid of the heat".
Cheese foam is usually cream cheese based, so you can imagine it as having cheesecake with tea.
Also, unless you are an EXTREME sugar freak, never order 100% sugar. I usually go 25/30% on fruit teas and 0% on milk teas.
Boba usually means tapioca balls. Herbal jelly, pudding, and lychee jelly are pretty popular toppings too.

For reference, 100% sugar level is around 45-60 grams of extra sugar, depending on the tea shop.

you can change the colorways of furniture without selling/buying guys! go to build mode and click the color swatch looking icon and then click the dresser you want to change and it will give you color options (like you found in the s2 housebuilding episode, lol)

I just wanted to say that I've been a fan of you guys since I was in middle school. As a kid I got bullied a lot and your videos have always been so comforting for me. I'm 22 now and I'm going through a horrible breakup. I was engaged but then everything fell apart. Watching y'alls videos truly makes me feel better. Idk I just wanted to say that even though I know you guys probably won't ever see this.

With Tab's wfh you need to look at the bottom where it says, "work from home assignment"- that's the thing she needs to do to get paid for that day. Also if you go into build mode you can click on the swatches icon at the top and change the colour of the bedside tables without spending any money.
