@ armament haki and physical armor is not the same thing. Armament can be applied as invisible armor but it’s used more offensively. Physical armor is just armor that protects you. Also sanji is not a “cyborg” he just has a metallic exoskeleton with no other properties.

cool to see the progression, really sad to see how the animation style changed. in the earlier parts, they really played around with perspective to exaggerate the kicks and the length of sanji's legs. In the later animation it's all about the big impacts
there's a reason he used it as the finisher against Luffy which was the strongest person he had fought up to that point in time, and even if he wasn't fighting back his devil fruit still nerfed the vast majority of damage from the kicks he did land on him, and Luffy was still down in a few minutes
