@@nikhilsharma3563 Not really. America's Zero Motors has electric bikes with up to 321 km of urban range. But those are quite expensive. With time, say up to two years, a 150km range should be easily affordable.
Really awesome even if simple design - a perfect mix of Retro looks & modern elements. And the build quality & performance are quite good too. Kudos to TVS for this awesome effort 👏👏👏. The only major disappointment is the Mileage... I wish it had atleast a 100 km Range. 50-70 km is kinda underwhelming.. 🙄
Looks good, but what if the rear tyre gets punctured or if the owner needs to change the wheel? Can it be done in local shops like regular scooters given the hub mounted motor????
Honda is selling Old maaal in this new India Goalmaal...............pathetic no charging point will be available till decade as oil India will not make it happen or the Govt, no matter they are sponsoring but it will take decades in tier 2 cities just like CNG.... Jago Grahaak Jago
Honda Will never learn like this because they know activa's success and now company is earning good margins And so Indians fool Boycott activa's Cos new activa bs6 is not up to mark in quality
It's true guys u can save 90%cost U can save minimum ₹20,000 per year Ev scooter costs avg ₹.20 per km Avg 30 km a day costs ₹2160 per year While petrol scooter costs ₹2 km Which costs ₹21600
If you are staying in a hot area like Bilaspur or Bhilai in Chattisgarh, the biggest problem in electric vehicles with hub mounted motor is the rear wheel tends to overheat because of all the heat on the road, the heat generated by the motor itself with all the load due to stop & go traffic and up climbs in the city traffic, the heat generated by the regenerative braking system and the heat generated by the rear drum brakes. This results in rear tyre getting overheated and it gets punctured or get stone cuts very easily at that amount of temperature. There is a reason why top electric vehicle manufacturers like Ather in India and Zero Motorcycles in the U.S.A. use mid/chassis mounted motor. Vehicles with chassis/mid mounted motors are actually the way of making an electric vehicle. Hub mounted motors are not at all good. It's not long before the production electric vehicles start coming with a water/liquid cooling system & it's practically possible only in electric vehicles with chassis/mid mounted motors.
IMO, the range is inadequate for the price. Don't think this may sell so well however, it's a start and hopefully it's next iteration should improve upon the range. Also, this turn-by-turn navigation is complete nonsense and not so helpful. They should have a Google Maps style navigation that the Ather offers.
Yo, i was testing 1 pre production model from local delhi vendor and it rides easily in heavy rains with water filled 1 feet on the roads Neither did it gave any problems in the next day.
What I understand 450X : Targets the collage/freshers who want fun in their youth. Chetak : Targets the oldies who reminiscent over their first scooter and want the piece of their mind. ICube : Just took the middle ground!
Better then bajaj chetak but Ather is real compititer.... In my opinion TVS win coz greater width greater length same top speed same range.. TVS is more comfortable and cheaper then Ather...
who needs a stupid 75kms range when ur spending over a lakh of rupees?...in the same price range its a wise option to buy revolt rv400 which gives double travel range 150kms per charge...also no fastcharge option to this scooter is a minus drawback.. not future proof TVS we are sorry!
Hi Indian, I'm from Indonesia, and TVS iqube Indonesia want to release in months ahead. Can you tell me, is it TVS Iqube durable, strong enough? how is electric consumption, how far it can go? thank you guys!!!!
For some one living within 15km from work these scooters are a perfect choice. One can charge alternate days and will be good to go always.
Even If I have 7 kms range I don't want,
@@hkadityabv Ok then don't. Keep burning petrol till eternity.
What scares me is rains, floods & potholes.

200 kms per charge will be a game changer in Electric Two Wheelars!
i personally need a e scooter atleast with 150km range within 2years!
150km? That's too much for electric
Battery size will be huge if u need 150km range.. then it won't be scooter anymore..it wud be auto

Nikhil Sharma its just a matter of time once the battery density increases(which it will)
Yes Solid state battery....just comes on
Still the battery range of electric scooters had to catchup quiet a lot when compared to conventional petrol powered scooters.
i dont think anyone would wanna travel more than 75kms on a scooter.
ur thinking is limited and small then 🤦🏻♀️
This looks ..damn elegant being an EV....thanks to TVS
TV's please introduce Electric bike seriously waiting for it
Sounds like a winner all the way! Now only if they added some more power and range it would be a sixer!

Honda should take lesson frm tvs fr activas design
Ntorq, creon.
Harish Shetty their sales figures shows that they do not require to invest in design any more :-) customers just buy what the neighbours buy.

Definately this scooter is attractive compared with bulky activa and acess scooters.but its performance should be improved like range and battery life
How about its water wadding capacity? If the rear tyre got punctured / with flat rear tyre , there s gonna be a damage to the hub motor???
Hello Sir,
I want to buy a new scooty.
Please tell me which one would be better option to buy in terms of overall performance
Thank you
It is just a starting period of electric 2 wheelers. Need to wait couple of years so that we will get a good deal.
It's still a great investment. Running cost is very less.
Hi sir...What about driving in rain and pot holes with water ? Does it harm the rear motor?
Waiting for it to come to Chennai. And thanks for the review,🙂
I kind of want this for a village in Tmail Nadu. But, the power situation in Villages aren't so amazing. I wonder how to charge this then :/
Please do a comparison video of Bajaj vs TVS vs Ather which one is better EV Scooter
If we want to change back tyre or fix the puncher it will be very difficult ... To Normal mechanics... Because it hub mounted back wheel...
What do we do with this issue?
Great job tvs !! Would be appreciated with more range to go with..
Usually people commute 40-60 km daily but why they want to have "more" range?
Good review, in my opinion. I wish I could buy a TVS iQube in Canada!
It looks better than. Others with Slim rectangular
Shape. With detachable batteries.
Is this will show better performance in hilly areas........?

I have one doubt its possible to drive in heavy rain time ?
Yo, i was testing 1 pre production model from local delhi vendor and it rides easily in heavy rains with water filled 1 feet on the roads
Neither did it gave any problems in the next day.
What will happen if flooded. Will the entire battery and engine go waste.
Yes its also flood proof. But small wheels means its not pothole or loose gravel proof.
How do you charge the battery if you do not stay at the Ground floor in an apartment complex? Thanks,
Any idea by when would it be available at Hyderabad?.. please reply
Awesome product💙
But when will it come to central India😅🙏
After a vaccine for Corona is found. So...not soon.
The range is deal breaker although it looks good
What would be the mileage with an adult pillion rider? Can it be used for city commuting of upto 25-30km each side with pillion rider?
Ather 450x vs tvs iqube vs Bajaj chetak

does iqube has regenerative braking?

Sir can you please say me does it create a premium sound

How much price in India
What kind of mileage does it give ?

Good! No Chinese parts. It should come with a metallic sliver blue paint to complete the "Robocop" look.
Please can u make a review video ...for bajaj pulsar ns new bs6 version.....and if possible compare it with other 200cc bikes in indian market.
Thanks for the update...
USB port is placed in such an incovenient place that it will damage the wire , hence practically making it unusable.
Abhishek Parida This won't be a problem. there are L shaped plugs available.
Whats the subscription fee of chetak?
Sir, tvs iqube delhi ncr me kab launch hogi

Quite awesome but the range it quite too low TVS must increase the range
This is better choice than any petrol powered scooter.
Beautiful machine, better looking than bajaj chetak electric by leagues.

Great product from TVS...! 😍😄👏👏
Pls review tvs ntorq bs6
Too costly to switch from petrol though running cost is very low.
Where is creon?
Actual problem is the low range. It shud b minimum 200km.
Tvs excellent I took test ride
It's better to buy EV after two years right now activa is the best way to get.
From a company which produces beauties like Apache this really is a huge letdown in the design front!
I am great fan of TVS
They need to revisit the design .. little bulky and hard look.
Wow! It has Regenerative braking!!
What about tvs zapllin... ????
I own hero maestro but my next scooter will be this electric.
Its better to launch Jupiter electric. It is as simple as that.
