Jesus never promised us a good life here in this world, but said "In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." We live in a fallen sinful world but Paul in the new testament said "if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world." He was saying if your living for Christ just to have a good life here in this fallen world then your going to be very disappointed, We follow Jesus because we love Him and He has promised us a place with Him in Heaven and the new earth. The life to come. If anyone told you that Christianity was going to give you your best life now, you can mark them down as a false prophet just by looking at Jesus's disciples. All but one of them went to their bloody deaths claiming they had seen Jesus risen from the dead. Just as David Would has said "Most people explanation for the origin of Christianity is that the disciples made up a story so they could spread Jesus's message, but that explanation doesn't make any scene. If your willing to die for something, you obviously believe it. When a terrorist blows himself up, no matter how wrong he truly is, he's obviously sincere about he's belief. So Jesus's apostles had to truly believe what they were dying for, which means they were truly convinced they had seen Jesus risen from the dead. When most religions are willing to lay down their lives for something, its for an ideology they had heard from someone else, and that ideology could be true or false. The disciples were dying for something they SAW. What convinced so many people that they had seen a resurrected Jesus. You can probably explain one or two of them away as being crazy, but all of them. You can think about it all you want but there's no other explanation for why they all had that same level of confidence, even to the point of death, than they actually saw Him." Which means if Jesus did what He said He would do when He said He would rise from the grave on the three day, then you can believe there's a better life to come when He said there is. Great comment! So true. We live in a wicked world that wants to continue to be wicked but you have to realize that even christians have been indoctrinated since birth by pop culture. I know alot of people that say oh, it's O.k to watch horror movies, people being torchured in movies, watch videos with woman leaving nothing to the imagination, cartoons with demonic story lines that encourage violence and video games where the whole concept of the game is to kill as many people as you navigate through cyber technology but I disagree. Sadly alot of the desensitising of violence is focused at kids! Yes, Jesus died for all the sins of the world, shed his blood to cover us with atonement and arose 3 days later to solidify his point! I believe it happened and I also believe it's our only chance in this un-civilization to be saved in a world where Jesus has become a bad word. The reason Jesus is shunned so much by so many is because his name makes demons tremble in fear and no one wants to here about him because they have been either surrounded, possessed or held in bondage by demons. Think about it, why would the good news of salvation and achieving peace and unconditional love within your heart and sharing that love ever offend anyone? Because demons are strong in this fallen world but Jesus Christ is stronger we just have to break the chains that we have miscalled our lives and receive the holy spirit to find the peace in the storm that Jesus talked about. Christians, new agers, atheists life affects everyone and it hurts. People need to stop blaming the redeemer our Lord Jesus Christ and give the devil a little credit for force feeding lies into our head from the moment we open our eyes until the moment we close them forever. God created man and woman to help make the world a better place but how can that happen when alot of them only care about themselves? People literally step over homeless people on their way to work everyday. If we want this world to change we have to become that change and stop letting the bully of the principalities of the air that rejected angel beat us to a pulp everyday with depression, suicidal thoughts and lack of empathy for others. Pray!!! We can do better and get off of our devices and look around every once and awhile to actually enjoy a sunset "God's art" or have a conversation with a person in real life instead of hiding behind a computer screen. In the case of spiritual war nothing is predetermined, everyday is a new day, a new chance to choose and make a difference. Free will is free but it was paid for by Jesus in advance. Constant energy is constant, when we die it will continue. If we believe heaven and hell are real and we decide to let everyone do their thing without giving them advise or trying to guide them to the forgiveness and salvation of Christ because we're afraid we are going to upset them than we really don't care enough about them and their ETERNAL state of being bottom line! That's really sad considering the "possibility" that the hell Jesus spoke about and warned everyone about so much actually exists and that we could end up there. I'm tired of walking on eggshells because Hollywood and the illuminatis satanic agenda has become a thing not just in Hollywood but in the minds of those they have effected through mind manipulation. Heart Broken … I understand the hellish pain although it was pills, mine was alcohol sadly it fuck up my youth having a mom and brother who were alcoholics and my dad jus didn't care and with this I lost my mum in 1992 to lung cancer, my brother was killed in 2000 and I lost my dad to cancer in 2001, you don't know how truly dark it can and will get until you look around and you find yourself alone, I hope one-day NF you will forgive your mom for addition is a fuck up hell and it's very hard to kick she didn't chose pills over you and family she jus didn't have the control over the pills it had control over her.She knows she fuck up hurting you and family her time on earth but let her be there for you now you'll be surprised what you can still do is have a relationship with her even on the flip side you just gotta figure it out and forgive and talk to her.
