    Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you want to use filters for a shot but have realised that you have forgot your filter adaptor rings or even the filter holder? I know I have!     Thank you for the idea Jason! I am looking for ideas for creating a filter holder for a lens like the tamron 15-30mm or the nikkor 14-24, which have bulbous frontal elements. A specific filter holder for these lenses is quite expensive, at about 500 euros, which is about what the lens itself costs, second hand. I considered using the slide on cover to try and create an improvised filter holder, but I'm not sure it'll work.
    If anyone has tried a method that worked, please let me know, it'll be very much appreciated.
