One of my favorite bloopers occurs in season 3 when Lucy redecorates the Mertzes' apartment. After the feather fiasco in Fred and Ethel's living room, Lucy returns to her own apartment and while speaking, a feather gently wafts down from somewhere above. Obviously could not have come from the apartment downstairs. No doubt it was just floating around in the rafters of the studio set. Lol

This is a lot of fun. You've got a good set of eyes to catch these. I did notice that same leopard print handbag appears once again when Ethel enters the Connecticut house as part of Lucy's gang,

Not pathetic at all, for I've Lucy countless times too and didn't notice the 'bloopers' either. That's because everyone was a professional and everyone knew how to move things along smoothly. Although, I will admit, that something was going on with that clock ⏰.

That's why we all still love Lucy today bloopers and all. How many programs can a grandparent and child watch together like this. Her daughter Desiree mentioned in so many words from a interview many years ago that through perilous mistakes all was always forgiven by shows end.

#3 when Uncle Alberto came to the Ricardo’s hotel room earlier in the day he gave the miniature drum to Little Ricky it had vertical stripes. But when Little Ricky comes on stage that night the stripes are horizontal.

I've got another blooper for this season. In the episode where they form a small band with little Ricky to perform at the PTA, during practice Lucy tells Ethel, "Do you know Sweet Sue?" and Ethel says, "No I never learned Sweet Sue." But she is clearly singing it in an episode in season 1. 😄
If I remember correctly he mentioned that in another video. Also in one show she is playint the piano like a pro but then in a later show in the country she could not play

Blooper #1 - Little Ricky went all the way to the port stern side of the boat, you can barely seem him at the edge of the screen for a brief moment at 2:01 right before Ricky almost falls off the back of the boat.
These bloopers are fascinating, so much fun!
In “Deep See Fishing” you can see Little Ricky or part of him for a split second after Ricky Sr. gets back in the boat.right at 2:01 as Sr. Is bent over to the left. Ricky Jr. was at the very left rear corner of the boat.

Rick, I love your channel. "I Love Lucy" had always been my favorite TV show. How they made it look spontaneous and unrehearsed is amazing. So funny, even today. Great job dissecting the episodes :-)

The one where they were practicing the surprise party and when she sees the practice surprise look on Rickys face she says "Ricky, it's a surprise party not a holdup" Still makes me roll out laughing. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I really enjoyed these bloopers. Very entertaining. There is one sorta blooper I noticed. When Lucy starts to reophoster the Mertz chair after their painting the room. She puts all the feathers on the table and Fred brings a fan out and the feathers blow all over. In the final scene when Lucy and Ethel are sitting on the Riccardos new couch a feather floats down in the background. I've noticed others but I can't remember any of them now.

The clock must have been so broken it was left behind by the previous owners. Notice it there when Lucy comes to mess up the sale of the house.

You can see just a bit of Little Ricky in the far top left corner for a second as Ricky is taking the fish out of his shirt and bends over. He's still there on the boat. :)

Something Funny I noticed from this season in the episode when the lucy and Ricky move in with Fred and Ethel before moving to the country is that they sell their furniture to the other tenants that move in so they only have a few boxes at the Mertz's apartment but when Lucy buys it all back there's a ton of boxes in the apartment when the only thing she bought back was the furniture so why all those boxes when it was just the sofa and coffee table etc...

In "Lucy And Superman", after she talks about how Ricky was born at 11:00, Carolyn goes on about how Stevie was born in California and she said it was 3 hours later of New York Time, when everyone should know that California is 3 hours behind New York.
In the episode "Country Club Dance", I've noticed a few things.
1. In the beginning, you see Diana walk in a very tight dress, but she can sit down perfectly fine. Later, when you see Lucy in a tight dress, she can't sit down.
2. When Lucy walks out, she bumps into a woman and drops her purse. After it dropped, the woman and her friend walked out. Why didn't she take the purse from Lucy.
3. When it was the 1st night of the dance, they were there at 11:30. When it was the 2nd night of the dance, Ralph said it ended at 11:00.
4. In the opening of the last scene when the three guys are sitting at the dance by themselves, you hear Fred's theme song.

I noticed a blooper, it was called REDECORATING THE MERTZES APARTMENT after all the feathers were blown around and at the end of the show where Lucy and Ethel are sitting on Lucys couch, I saw a small piece of feather float down, somehow it went through the floor to Lucys apartment

It looks like Little Ricky is indeed in the boat while all this was going on with Big Ricky being pulled back into the boat. Little Ricky is glimpsed at the far corner on the left. It's easy to miss unless you look carefully.

I think the leaning lamppost is actually an anchor. They were common around the shore in Connecticut, especially in eastern Connecticut. This one is pretty large, most of them are much smaller and have a more nautical looking lamp, like the old time oil or gas lamps.
Probably noticed by some others but I think the grandfather clock was fixed and was changed up and not always 1200 or 0000/2400 during the 'Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour' episodes. As someone said, the series had continuity issues, but I enjoy them. Sort of a primer for 'I Love Lucy: Urban Legend'.
I bet if they were alive they would get a kick out of this! I'm sure they would probably even explain these bloopers. LOL! Great Video!
This may be on another of your episodes, but I remember when Ricki was translating from Spanish to English in one episode in the old apartment that he starts to talk to the visitors in English, I think, and then suddenly realizes his mistake and chuckles before continuing on in Spanish. Truly these shows were wonderful in their live format and it shows us great TV. Thanks for your observations.
If you look closely, you can still see the tiles on Lucy's feet. The edge of the one on the left foot is slightly raised.
Something I noticed from your snippet of the episode "Lucy Goes to the Hospital" is that when Ricky answers the phone he says, "He's here?" Yet just a few seconds later in the episode, the band asks whether it's a boy or girl and Ricky claims he "forgot to ask." IDK, maybe with Desi's accent it sounds like he says "he's here" when he actually says "it's here." Not sure. Just something my ears picked up. :)
There was a blooper in equal rights episode. William Frawley when William was discussing hiring a plumber with Ricky.

At 7:45 the lady dancing with Desi would go on to star as Jeanie on the TV show I Dream Of Jeanie !! It's incredible to see Jeanie and Lucy in the same scene together. This was in 1957. I dream of Jeanie started in 1965, about eight years later !! Look at how depressed Lucy looks while Desi dances with Barbara Eden. She really was jealous. The reason was because she really thought Barbara was beautiful and reminded Lucy of Audrey Meadows from The Honeymooners whom Lucy thought as a beautiful lady.

Another blooper I notice through out the entire show is whenever Lucy buys something knew Ethal always says Fred has bout me anything new in years. When in fact she buys new clothes a lot too

I love these as much as the show itself. I used to notice these kind of things when I was little watching I Love Lucy. but I never knew what they were called. I will just holler at the family look did you see that? I'm the only one that saw it.
Some of these eps are on Season 5 on Amazon but not The Ricardos go to Cuba. I ordered the Season 6 DVD just for that but is it possible some of these were actually on Season 5 or did Amazon just toss some Season 6 episodes onto Season 5 on their channel?
Ragtime episode. Ricky is holding a cigar while he’s telling Lucy, Fred and Ethel about how the tempo of the song ( Sweet Sue ) should be played. When the group beings to play, Ricky stops them, he’s no longer holding the cigar.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned another blooper in S6 Ep1 with Bob Hope. Lucy dressed up as a male hot dog vendor in the baseball game. She keeps trying to talk to Mr. Hope while he's trying to watch the game. The crowd gets excited, Lucy grabs his tie to get his attention and he says, "Yeah...but honey...my tie...". I guess he forgot he was talking to Lucy Ricardo. LOL! (It's before he gets hit with a baseball)
Have you ever noticed that Ricky always wears elevator shoes? They do look real nice but the heal is pretty high for a man's shoe. I guess he always wants to be taller than Lucy.
It's a heel, not a heal.
The grandfather clock was not an issue. It was common for people to leave clocks at noon/midnight and not wind the clock so not to hear the hourly chime.
In the episode where they're moving to Connecticut( crooked lamppost) the clock is clearly at about 1:50!😉😊
Actually if you watch VERY closely at 2:01 Little Ricky can be seen in the corner.

Hey Rick, so i just watched this very episode on Pluto TV and the part where little Ricky looks like he Isn't there, well if you look real close when the camera is on Ricky and Fred, you can see little Ricky's cap slightly in the background. I saw him twice there. Just a lil fyi lol

Well, *THE* biggest "blooper" I've always noticed in the Westport episodes is the the Grandfather clock is perpetually at 12 o'clock. An amazing oversight for such a meticulously- made show!

Really fun video! The phone call could have been a person to person call. In the old days if my parents wanted to make a person to person call you'd call the operator and give them the name, city and number. You would hang up. Once they got the party on line (back then they had to do station to station.... could be many operators to get the person you wanted up talk to). Mom and dad would say we are expecting long distance from our grandparents so we were to stay off the phone... and they would answer and the operator would say is this xyz and my parents would say yes this is xyz to accept the call.
I'm sure Lucy fixed the hat... See..., She was a witch! 😃

I also believe there was one show that showed one time on one clock on the usual spot on the wall and then another clock in the room having a different time in the same scene
In an early episode when Ricky forgets Lucy‘s anniversary she has it circled on the calendar on the 19th. And Hollywood when he forgets he wires and says that it’s the seventh

A blooper I notice is from season 6 episode 15 Lucy hates to leave. Ricky mentions how is 15 great years in this apartment and never mentions the first apartment once
