This is an wonderful idea! Being a senior driver anything that helps me see the vehicle in front of me better is a great thing!

You are very insightful to have done this mod. The DOT should mandate this. It's a no-brainer and would add next to nothing to the price of a teardrop. Thanks!

Thank you Tom. That's is what I was thinking as well. With the current lights mounted so low on the camper, a brake light up at the sight line of the vehicle behind you will be a huge benefit with catching people's attention behind you.

I really enjoy your videos. You seem like a super cool dude. I wish I lived next door to you! I can see a backup camera in a future mod 😂!! Keep up the great videos.

Thank you sir. Hope it helps you out. Yes, a camera is in the plans. I have a camera in my work trailer and Cindy's Shasta. Just looking for the right camera to make happen.
Not sure you would like being my neighbor. You never know what we are going to be up to next 😆

After watching this video, I’m sure I could install a brake light on my own. 😄

Sam, another awesome enhancement. What size and type of screws did you use to mount the brakelight and how far down from the roof line did you have to drill to get into the wall?

I apologize, I just saw your questions
I used #10 screws to mount the light. I would be afraid to give you a distance for the wall as it would probably be different on your camper as they are all over the board. It's easy to find with a few measurements and eyeball.
