Hi, I love your tutorials, so clear and easy to follow. Can I ask how big a baby needs to be for this carry? My little girl is approaching 5 months, great head control but is quite small still. Do I need to wait until she can wrap her legs around me like 'Sam' can? Thank you.

To use the hip/side carrying position you’re better off waiting for rock solid head/neck control. Probably around 4m +.
