in my experience, when your team is garbage, you cant be at dragon or baron fights, you have to push the waves first, that way a fiora cant backdoor you. i have a feeling that because he always wins lane so hard with his "fundamentals" that he doesnt seem to know what to do lategame, he said it himself he loses with a lead quite often.

I think the "when your ahead build defensive and when your behind build offensive" isnt universally applicable there are champs that cant build defencive or offensive and even with the champs that can build both i think it depends on what your team needs no? If your team is ahead and your behind then wouldnt it be better if you build defensives or support items if your kit allows it? And mages dont have many defensive items to build.
i say this because one time i was behind and though what if i build abyssal mask on akali since our carry was ap and i can keep on a target for the duration of my shoud so i did it and we won the game and i laughed so hard
It's so unfortunate for a player to play the game perfectly and still loose because of stupid teamates a lot of games that ints or doesn't defend They should add a new system if you underpreforl you should be depromored and entire elo like if you are diamond 1 and u went 0/10/0 and you are the least gold player in the team you will be removed to emerald 1 so people play their ranked games more seriously if someone is trhing a new champ or trolling people or not wanting to try hard better play normal game Or neglect lp loss for the players that played well like in Valorant Because it has no meaning to have random teamates and depend 101 % on them it doesn't make sense
