Let me explain China's population challenge using simple math we use in everyday life. Imagine you're running a large library with 140 books (representing China's 1.4 billion people). Now, every year you add 9 new books, but you need to remove all books that are over 80 years old.
If this continues, after 80 years, how many books would you have? Simple multiplication: 9 books per year × 80 years = 720 books total.
But wait - you currently have 140 books! This means 68 books (140 - 72) need to go somewhere over time. If we divide this by years:
    68 ÷ 80 = 0.85 books must leave each year.
    Breaking this down further:
Per year: About 1 book disappears
    Per day: 0.85 ÷ 365 = 0.0023 books daily
In real population terms, this means about 23,000 fewer people each day, or roughly 7,700 families (assuming 3 people per family).

China does not need the dam...
Solar in China is growing 40% every year and is much cheaper...

90 % of the water in the Siang-Brahmaputra river system is from the Himalayan watershed located in Arunachal Pradesh,India and not in Tibet

Dames can be used for war purposes as well. China already has too much solar.

He should do little bit more research on this dam. It does not require very huge reservoir.

Water that comes from China into the Brahmaputra is only 30%. 70% water is collected in the Himalya of India. Chinese dam will not affect water supply in India. Only problem is that China can cause flooding bt releasing excess water. India’s dam in Arunachal pardesh will take care of it. The whole topic of discussion is poorly researched and fake

Najam Sethi Sabeb.... Aap bahut bare journalist hain.... Lekin please thoda research aap bhi karlo... China is building a great dam at a very strategic location... Which is agreed because it is exploiting the great bend which is good.... But the water volume increases more than twice once it enters India... India is creating dams on those tributaries in a similar way so the ultimate punishment would be for Bangladesh your recent bumchum

Dear Saithi Sahab, pls. educate the masses instead of resute to 'story-telling'.
India & China have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and an Expert Level Mechanism (ELM) to discuss water issues.
Both countries have shown acumen on LoAC issue.
And if it doesn't bother you personally praise Indus water treaty signed by General Ayub Khan.
BTW Bangladesh is the third party and tail end country on Bharamaputra.
