I can't remember exactly when but it was probably more than 20 years ago i was walking downtown in Guelph Ontario Canada when i walked past a club with live music. As i stood outside listening i was impressed. I had to go inside and find out who was playing. It was Philip Sayce . I watched the rest of the show and was blown away. Yup… my first hero in the late 60’s was Johnny Winter, seen him 3 or 4 times over the years. Caught Robin Trower in a small Montreal club (Club Soda) the comments about the Trower, SRV, Hendrix vibes are spot on… the guy’s good no question!
