Philip Sayce - Once - 2023 Glasgow
I get being inspired by SRV, but half the licks he’s playing are just taken directly from Lenny
Tradeskill at its finest Bravo incredible
Hallo, ich sehe in der Titel Beschreibung keinen nicknamen wo mit dem anfangssymbol ( @ ) beginnt? Und auch dass fehlende # bei den Beschreibungen?
Oh Glasgow does the best fish n chips in the UK.
Glasgow , sexy city Philip; the Scots are Far Out!! ❤❤You are the Greatest out there at this time. The world needs this genera now, we have had it with all the B S music. Take care of yourself !!!! ❤❤❤🎉
Jimi ray trower
I’m almost 70 too, and Philip plays with the heart and soul of the days gone by. Hendrix, SRV, Trower… fly on Philip!
I stumbled across this by accident. I've never even heard of this guy, but wow! Smokin'!!!
SRV influenced definitely. But you sound good.
He sent it out and the audience received it and sent it back...that is the exchange that blues rock is all about. I appreciate that he has dedicated his life to developing his talent as far as he can take it and now he can share it with others, that takes guts and a certain type of person who won't give up or stop trying...inspiring. And he never misses a note so I think he's dialed into the sweet spot now and taking it on the road....hats off.
That guitar is screaming on top of that mix lol
Never heard of him till now 😮 WOW what a talent raw emotion class act
Probably a musician that’s into playing music I may be at the moment, not looking for fame. That’s my first time, listening to him too, and I love it.
Very good 👍
Nice tone!!!!
A Rory Fender ?
Sacred riffs
That's just amazing ! .. delicious .. ! Beautiful .! Keep it up ..! Life is good .. Luis ..
Dang!!!! That is bad ass!!’
All ears…
I’ve played many gigs in some very nice venues, in my years playing guitar. I’ve a few strats, and not one of them sound that good 😂 ever.
Wow. First introduction to Sayce, brought me to tears. Thanks for the upload 🙏🏾🤘🏾🫶🏾
Great stuff but man so many of the youngsters overplay these day. Allot more can be said with much fewer notes
Agreed. At times less is more
Fantastic I'm 100%inspired thanks
You are good. Aber your tempo in the beginning was too fast to serve the song justice. Then you slowed, improved.
Tell Stevie Ray that his style of the blues is still alive and I real good hands!🙂
Sick! New to this guy but, absolutely sick.
Great imitator, nothing original here, but none the less, damn impressive!
Dude is awesome. I hear Robin and Rory in there.
This guy's got it. Good singer too.
❤🔥✌️
Sounds like Robin Trower from 1976. Stevie Ray? Naahh...nope. Not hardly.
This guy needs better PR or something because I’m no youngster and have been listening to music for quite some time without ever hearing anything about this dude. He is without a doubt a talented guitarist with a great sound. How can someone like this be around for this long and not a household name?
WOW!!
Never heard of this guy. He's amazing!
Guys have you seen the replies to my post from the guy @Loit5091, really all I did say was how much I enjoyed the gig, one of the best I had attended, then a barrage of very hostile comments on Sayce, he clearly does not share our opinion of him and thinks he is a clone and then gets very personal, is this guy for real?
don't be jealous he is more than the word good i will give him 10/10 or 100%
Damm this guy is a mazing I love it, keep it up?
That’s a Fender reissue of the Rory Gallagher Strat…Fricken sweet !
Nope! A real early 60’s strat!
No
Talented Man
HOLY SHIT❤❤❤❤
That young man on the front row won't be the same after that...
Killer playing my man. Trying to put my finger on who your influence might be.🤔🙂
I can't remember exactly when but it was probably more than 20 years ago i was walking downtown in Guelph Ontario Canada when i walked past a club with live music. As i stood outside listening i was impressed. I had to go inside and find out who was playing. It was Philip Sayce . I watched the rest of the show and was blown away. I recall he mentioned some issues with his record company at that time. Thanks to u tube i can experience his talent again.
I had a similar experience walking in downtown Omaha and hearing some great blue coming from a basement bar . This was in the mid 90’s and it turned out to be Popa Chubby .
Just a cheap lenny rip off. Good but unimaginative
Great tone and great connection with the strings! Damn good vocalist as well
Hey this is great !!! ❤❤
Simply Awsome R & B beat. You can really shred that guitar playing the lead solo.
Great playing. Some heavy influences there. I'm hearing Robin Trower......the Univibe especially.
High price guitar unique here it comes if its squier it would be probably out of tune
