I’m loving the browns. I thought the vest was cute but you definitely made the right call if you weren’t getting use out of it. Also shout out to 2x2 rib! It’s my new fave lol
Omg I am so glad you’re doing this sweater . I am a newbie to sweater making and this is actually the pattern I’m using. I’ve never done German short rows, so I’m learning a lot at once. I’m using Malabrigo Rios yarn and so I won’t be doing any stripes. I’m also doing the folded neckline. I love this. I started mine last week. Can’t wait to finish watching this to the end. Just had to pause to comment. ❤❤
awn thank you so much!! I LOVE Malabrigo yarns they are so lovely I just know your sweater will turn out gorgeous!! Florence is so good at explaining german short rows and make it a lot simpler to understand so this is a great project to learn from!
It's really nice to see fiber artists frog and reuse yarn from unfinished projects or from projects that they know they're not going to use/don't like anymore ☺
It came out so cute! ❤ also as someone who waited a while to get a swift, keep an eye out for when michaels has their 40% off coupons! i was able to get a nice wooden one for $20! ☺️
This was such a nice video and so relaxing to watch. Im glad you made the step by step sweater because ive been wanting to make the cardigan version and was eyeballing both these yarns 😊
Aw thanks for a lovely video - you are so sweet. I really enjoyed following you on your sweater journey as I sat and knit. I am making Christmas gifts - on my 4th PetiteKnit Stockholm hat - oh and I am English but live in Sweden. xxx
I get the pain of frogging! I spent off and on a few months on this crochet cardigan for a gift but hated how it was coming out so the i came across another pattern and now im frogging all my work to make this new one literally as we speak😅 but the beautiful finished product is worth it 🧶🤎
I was the same!! I definitely recommend looking at continental knitting videos instead of the traditional way. You hold the yarn similarly to crochet so it was a lot easier for me to
Early in your video, it looked like your forearms were leaning on the edge of the table as you knitted. This may be why your wrists hurt. Also later on it can cause the outside edge of your hand (including your pinkies) to go numb. I would put down a soft rolled up towel (or something squishy) on the edge so that your arms aren't having their circulation cut off.
