Could you update these controller setup guides? A lot of skills are gone or not assignable to the hotbar. Had this same issue for Samurai. Thanks! Or at least an image of your current setup so we can shift around.
Hey, I'm not sure if you read new posts on old videos... but I'll give it a shot. (I'm not sure if you know this) putting Sprint on a hot bar is such a waist. If you go into system settings, then controller button configuration... (now personally I think having first person bound to a button is a waist) so you can change to macro 98 or 99, then just go into your macros and set the one you chose to bind as a spirit macro... now just push down on your analog stick for Sprint...

I tried that back in the day, but didn't like it much... I might give it another shot, because it's not real common knowledge. If nothing else, I'll see if I can't try this and even make a video on it for others who are interested. :) Thanks for the tips!

Thanks for the great video! I'm still slogging through ARR, and since I really wanted AST, I bought a jump potion for it. I haven't spent much time playing it, due to feeling overwhelmed over how to set up my bars. As this is my first healing class in my first MMO, I have no habits to base my choices on. Your clusters of attacks on the left, heals on the right, feels intuitive and is very similar to how I set up my dps bars. Can't wait to try it out.Couldn't figure out what one of the commands you were talking about was, until I realized that you weren't pronouncing largesse properly. It's a real word meaning "generosity in bestowing money or gifts upon others" and is pronounced Lar-Jess, or Large-S if it makes it easier to remember. Emeril is not in this game ;-) but you can say BAM if you want!
Stewart, you are my hero... I am dyslexic and have issues with words, and people do put in the phonetic spelling in chat, but this is the first one I'm seeing that makes it sound right. :) Thanks for the assist!!! :)
How do I turn off the macro system errormessages? I found the option for the Chat but if im playing solo the System says wrong target or action for the dps spells while using your target target macro.
Hey, First let me say how I love your video's. They are very good. I do have a question: I returned to FFXIV and now with 4.4 I can use 10 role actions and I dont have enough space anymore. Do you still use the same setup or has it changed?
Great question and yes, I’ve been working on updated guides because the 10 skills changed my layout so much. I’m finishing up Monk right now, then plan to return to these jobs again. I end up using more macros because of the skill bloat with the 4.4 change.
I did a skills overview, but still need to do a Dark Knight 101 guide, which will be coming, but I don't have an ETA just yet. :) These take a good amount of work, and with Destiny 2 and FF I've been stretched thin. :S
Work To Game Brian did you know having Lady of crowns backroad like that makes it so every time you use Lord it hits the enemy but when you hit lady it bounces it back and cures yourself and never the Target or the target of the target
Actually, doing Malefic followed by Combust would be the way to do it cause they can be chained together instantly in that order without having to wait for the GCD from Combust if you do that first.
Work To Game I do use the wxhb and the hotbar for cd reminders from watching your other controller guides but some of the button placements are spot on
I can watch every video on RUclips except this one haha. Its like its corrupted or something. I really needed help and life was like psych you cant get better at healing f*** you.

You can if you wish, I did for a day, but then kept them separate. :)

Healers don't really have rotations. Its more of a priority system.
If anything from damage, I'd say... Dot with Combust, then Malfec, if over 3 targets Gravity :) Done. :D
Just the set up on the controller and the best way to start and end my combo rotation for the best dps.

macros for non ground aoe skills are gross.
It all depends on your perspective, at the least, they are optional... :)
