Nice! this work definitely deserves the exposure it will earn. I have listened to this album in full while at work at least 3 times in the past 2 days. It is quite good.
A herculean effort. Some inspired playing. As a 70's Prog fan, I give this a big thumbs-up in 6/8. If this were 4 people, it would be amazing. Since it's one person, well, what famous melodic rock band comes to mind? Ah, Boston. One guy playing most of the instruments and fooling his record company into thinking the session musicians were doing great in that California studio while he recorded all of Boston's debut album music tracks in his house. The mix: Very good use of staging in the mix, left, center, right. Would prefer to hear less compression, more air between instruments. Love the vocalizations on An Earth Veiled in Shadow. Awesome piano notes at 47:06 tell the tale of the complexities of the guitar harmonies. (I think.) Would love to have heard something rise up to re-introduce the guitar hammering at 47:41 rather than the cold restart, but now I'm nitpicking. I couldn't have done it better, period. Well done, I look forward to more. I look forward to stories and vocals and air.
Hey, thanks for the kind words. This is just a solo project, I'm not on social media or anything or doing much promoting because I don't have a lot of time to put into this. I don't do much promoting, but all my music is available on streaming platforms.
Absolutely stunning work. I love stumbling across gems like these. I wanted nothing but to see this performed live n loud. I cant wait to hear what else you create
Man, you, sir, have caught my algorithm. Amazing work, I'm only on the 4th song so far but I already know I'm gonna enjoy the rest of the album when I hear it! Love discovering gems like these, especially since it's such a recent release. You're gonna watch this video of yours blow up.
To be honest I am not a big fan of instrumental albums, they rarely catch me. This here is so beautiful, so intriguing, so fascinating... I wish every person in the world would listen to this at least once in their lifetime.
This is really outstanding work. I don’t understand how one person could possibly do this (assuming it is one person), but it is inspiring. I subbed after maybe the second track. People need to remember that button when they discover gems like this and help support the channel/artist! Whatever you’re doing, keep it up! Clearly the response has been very positive. If you feel so inclined to answer, are you playing the guitars for this?
What a beautiful cd cover art. Feels dreamy and cozy. Like a perfect depiction of a mid-season of fall and winter. I wish the music was more instrumental, smooth.
Congratulations! Beautiful...such beautiful music you do. Correct me ir I'm wrong....This is a solo project, isn't it? Ali instruments were played by you?
Very, very good athmospheric music! I really like it! But is there a haas effect on the kick? it´s coming from the sides, not the middle, what feels kinda disturbing and leads to a lack of pressure :-D Edit: seems to be only in song 2
Sorry, I haven’t got any physical copies available, can’t afford it, but it’s available on all streaming platforms as well as here. Would be super cool to have a physical LP version, maybe one day.
This sounds like American post rock when they've accosted Eastern Nations into war. It's good, but it's not true. Noir For Rachel albums plz. April Rain.
😂 I don’t know what any of that means except the last part. This is original music, I don’t post other people’s music, and I don’t know why I would if you already know what it is.
@@BDMusic2021 oh alright 👋 I'm just saying, props to where props comes from, I was just throwing up my represent for the post rock nations and the post rock innovators

Thanks, I just bought it.
First Startle the Heavens (Birmingham) and now you. That’s two nice musical artists in this genre from ‘bama. Excellent work.
Colors Cast by the Sun is without a doubt LEGENDARY!!!!!!!!!!!

Great title, music, and art. Blessings to you and yours
Excellent pro work, so lightweight

Cool album, great sound 👌
Simply put, The Gerat Nothing are a cacophony of perfection.
Great music guys, amazing stuff, reminds me a bit Plini it was at the same mood i think but harder in rythms!!!
This band is misnamed, it should be called The Great Everything. This is one of the most beautiful albums I've ever listened to
I couldn't find any info about them except that they're from USA. Did you find any links to social networks? Anything?
@Bogdan Dukhevych Unfortunately I found very little. My guess is that its a brand new band/project.
@@zombironodamai 2nd album already. The first one is dated 2021

It's absolutely amazing 🖤🖤 Thank you very much for your beautiful music 🖤🖤
this needs to be on vinyl
Just listen. Well worth your time.
Keep up the good work.
Sometimes, the RUclips algorithm indeed does its job. Glad I discovered this. Greetings from Mexico!
Very nice. At par with Distant Dream / God is an Astronaut. Glad I discovered it!

What a wonderful album! I'm glad I discovered it, I'll be watching for what comes next. Cheers from Mexico City!
This is the best Postrock/Postmetal Album I heard in a long time.
High praise! Thanks so much.
Wow! Something happening here!
I don't like comparison in art, but in some way it is in one line with Sleep Token for me❤️🔥
This is really good.
Thanks!

🍀🌺🥰🖖 well done sir 😉
Incredible! Is this a one man band? Really impressive.
Please note that this album has been on repeat and has matched my energy every. Single. Time.

Very nice album, although it would have been nicer if the loudness of the kick drum and snare were swapped around.
After I finished the mix and released it I felt the same. Thanks for the feedback.

Great tunes and superb artwork. I love artwork like this, who is the artist?
It’s ai. I use MidJourney to come up with art. It does look really good though.
Both this album and its artwork are stunning! I'd totally buy the album cover if it was on a tshirt/hoodie. What do you use for the drum sounds?
For this album I used the Duality 1 library for EZdrummer. I never use the premixed sounds from EZdrummer but the raw samples sound fantastic.

@@BDMusic2021 do a crowd funding for physical copies, and yes please put on bandcamp if not on there, that will generate money/more interest as well.
That’s an interesting idea I’ll have to look into, and it’s up on bandcamp now.

Temas de 8/9 minutos es muy denso. Hay 1000 bandas asi, suenan excelente pero la obra se pierde en un infinito de minutos. Mas corto es mas efectivo.
