Thank you very much for the tutorial for a long time I want to return to water sports, in my youth I practiced white water kayaking but I have been out of sport for a couple of years, very good video very instructive .. greetings from Chile
phates merci! sehr gute Demos und kein Gelaber 🙂 excellent video, straight to the point and no RUclips mumbo jumbo :) that's how it should be. cheers Balz! 😎
Thanks man. Awesome inspiration. I am 173 cm tall and 75kg wight. Which size of equipment I need? Thanks for your support! Greetings from Antalya Turkey 🌊☀️🤙
I’ve got a 29ltr board. I’m 185lbs. Seems like sinking a smaller volume board for starting flight may be easier with less volume. I’m sure I’m missing something
Thanks for this great video Balz that I used a lot first half of this year. It helped me a lot. I now return to it because my toeside tacks with the Ensis wing are hard. It is hard especially in stronger wind to get the 5.2 above my head. It looks like the wind holds it back. Do you have a tip for this? That would be great, thanks a lot !!
Hi. That was absolutely fantastic. Think it's nearly inspired me to give it a shot, at least I've already learned kite foiling. Which stabiliser and mast (I have 91 and 101cm in my quiver) length do you like most with the 1100 wing? Regards.
Thank you for the great video. Any advice on pumping up to foil with a set up of a 1400 MFC front wing 115 litre 5-8” board and 5.4 m2 wing. I weigh 85 kilos. My board just slogs along in 15 knots and I know that pumping is what will break me free, but wonder if my lack of straps and small foil are making it too hard? Just my second day on the set up.
15 knots is too light for 1400cm especially when learning. I use 2000 for light days. You would need more like 18-20. Also focus on increasing speed not trying to get up on foil. Common mistake trying lean back and angle board up to get on foil. Instead focus on pumping the wing and push front foot forward and down with each pump to increase board speed and when foil will start creating lift you will start riding instead of angling board up that will cteate drag. In this video looks like he's using 1800 or similar size foil.
That was so Fun! Inspiring to make my first wing - foil purchase. Thanks!!!!
The best explanation of the pumping the wing and the board I’ve seen!
Awesome Balz, Danke.
Just back from the windsurfing shop having purchased me first set of gear!!!!
Can't wait to get on the water!

mostly on the 82 mast and the s483 but the 91 can also work (the big span creates lots of torsional flew on the mast)
@@radiculo Roger that, thanks!
Boy oh boy... I thought that 12 knots was not enough. Technique ... loved your board... what is it?
its my first 58l MB Albatros prototype
It looks wonderful, when can I buy it🙂
Thanks man,but the best trick you did was the Adirondack and didn't even know it ;)

yeah 1400 is an small front wing for lighter windy! and yes strapless is a bit harder but its doable.. a wider stance can help ;) have fun
Well done! 🤙🏼
Thanks!🤙
nice
Is it allowed to Wingfoil on all lakes in Switzerland on which Windsurfing is allowed but Kitesurfing forbidden?
Yes so far! at many spots kiting is not allowed during summerseason with all the lines on the beach..
@@radiculo That's awesome. Fingers crossed that it stays like this!
I will Need A part three very soon 😃
Its time now ☺️
Merci!
What wing size are you using in this vid?
5.2 but usually 4.5 is my one to go
Perfect
it looks so easy, how you do that stuff, but it isn't...:-)
Thx
So you can play and teach wingfoil like a boss less than 1 year after trying for the first time !? :)
Haha I‘m surprised too where my winging has flown the past 11months!
The video of a light rider is not helpful
