try asprin instead! make sure its not coated and just crush some pills and make a paste with water, put it on the pimples overnight and they’ll be almost gone by the next day, this works for getting rid of piercing bumps as well.

Good video! There is no treatment for acne that can work over night. You have to be patient and follow a routine skin care if you want clear skin. it is important to treat acne on time in order to prevent scars. Scars are permanent and it can only be improved ( with lasers) but you may never get your normal skin back. So, please remember that treating acne is important.

Who else doing exercising, skincare stuff, and reducing size so you can look good for school next year?? 🙋‍♀️😂😂
Edit: I come back to this comment 7 months later and you guys, we can all relate to 😂😂 you guys are great! Also, tips for weight loss and skin care!
If you want to lose weight faster, boost your metabolism (its faster if you're a kid or teenager, as I was told by my father), drink lots of water (also drink water if you are craving something unhealthy. It should work!), and eat more vegetables and fruit! For acne, make sure that when you're in the shower, use acne cleansers (if you don't have one, you can use a bar of soap and rub it on your hands and use your fingers to rub it all over your acne on your face, cheeks, eyelids, temples, nose, underneath nose, jaw, neck, shoulders, chest, and any other spots you have acne). Water also helps get rid of acne, so thats a good! Scrub your face everyday with soap. (Fact: Are you getting acne on your cheeks? If so, it might be from your mask. You sweat and breathe in it which causes bacteria and dirt to get under your skin which is annoying as heck, trust me 😅)
    I hope this helps! 😙💕

Cassidy Ames you have to find the RIGHT BC for you! I talked to my obgyn and it and she gave me half estrogen and half progestin (I think that's what it's called) and I asked for pow hormones too. It helps with the cystic pimples for me. But he small ones so much but it has helped a lot. I've tried two. I'm currently on lutera. On my 2nd month and I'm liking it. It hasn't made me gain weight either which is good too. I got headaches for a bit but they went away with lots of water.

Okay seriously this is cool. I had a zit and it left that dry textured skin around it. Not nice. I didnt have Neosporin, so i just gobbed a bunch of my night moisturizer on the area. I didnt have these specific bandaids but i had some that were cloth backed so flexible. Put that over the moisturizer. I took it off this morning and all that flaky dry skin peeled right off. The little redness left behind can easily be covered up by makeup. Holy buckets i am sharing this with every female i know. It really worked using regular night moisturizer. THANK YOU!!!!!!

She's gorgeous and I love that she shared her routine. Just a note from a dermatologists perspective: St Ives is a really rough exfoliator for your skin because of the huge walnut shells; they can cause tiny abrasions on the skin. Something with gentle, smaller microscrubbers like Neutragena will be kinder to your skin. Also, alcohol dries out your face so swabbing it with witch hazel is much kinder to your skin. Here's to beautiful skin ladies! 😍

Watched this video about 8 months ago and decided to try this. You literally have changed my life. I used to have BAD break outs and the creams my dermatologist recommended cost $500’s!! And the off brand for it was about $40’s. And all it did was make my skin SUPER dry and flakey ): when I did this my zits LITERALLY vanished about 40% and 2 days later they were almost 100% gone! Now my beauty regimen is take off my make up, wash my face and I put antibiotic ointment all over my face and I add a bit more to the bad spots and my face is now 98% clear.

DO NOT use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball to stop bleeding. there are two liquids used in isopropyl alcohol- one that evaporated on contact with skin, and one that absorbs into the skin. the one that absorbs into the skin relaxes the capillaries, thus causing more bleeding. just take a regular tissue paper and apply pressure for 60-90 seconds until it has stopped bleeding. i hope this helps someone!

IT WORKS!! This weekend is homecoming and 4 days ago my skin was a NIGHTMARE. Under the skin bumps, little pimples, big pimples, and one deep pimple that I had picked into a crater. I had this one breakout for like 3 weeks and I could not get rid of it. I tried serums, patches, and literally everything! I tried the trick and my pimples were reduced to little red marks OVERNIGHT! After doing it for a few days all I had was some un-picked pimples that I cleared up easily with a pimple patch. THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY HOMECOMING!

I’ve done this many times. Works great. Only thing that I’ve found that works better is using a hydrocolloid bandage in place of the regular bandaid and neosporin. Great tip!

  • @sarahdonohue9002
    @sarahdonohue9002 6 лет назад +12

I have been doing something similar to this for years. Instead of long bandaids, I buy the little round spot bandaids. I have found that CVS brand isn't too sticky for your face where sometimes band aid brand would stick, causing more redness around the zit. I also use zinc oxide along with the Neosporin or any generic triple antibiotic ointment. First I moisturize well and wait a few minutes for that to soak in. Then I use acne spot cream (I use Neutrogena rapid results) topically on the zit. I put a small dollup of zinc (enough to cover zit with a thick layer but not so much it will squish out from under the bandage). Then I put a layer of Neosporin on the bandaid and center the pad on the zit. When I wake up in the morning, all if the zinc has soaked into the skin while the nastiness has been pulled out and is trapped in the bandaid pad.
This typically helps only when the zit is under the skin but open and maybe you have picked at it a little ...or a lot. I have very sensitive skin and the cheap spot bandaids seem to work better for me. The moisturizing seems to help prevent the top layer of skin from being removed around the zit but not willing to risk it with band aid brand. The zinc seems to help prevent scarring and helps the Neosporin heal the skin. It seems to need to be plain old zinc oxide too, not like diaper rash cream that has other stuff included. I have noticed a big difference as I seem to get breakouts every month around that time and have honed in with a lot of experimentation on what does work. I have also discovered acne patches or well branded cellulose bandages. They really do suck the gunk out. I use the band aid thing and acne patches both depending on what is going on with my face. If a zit just needs to heal from being picked at I will use the band aid, if still swollen and red, I use the acne patch.
Not trying to rain on your parade or promote brands. She is right. It does work even if it sounds crazy. Please give it a shot before posting that it won't or can't work. I have seen miracles on my own face.

I've been doing this for as long as I can remember. To help with the redness and inflammation, I crush an aspirin and mix it with bacitracin. A lot of people are allergic to neosporin and it has been found to cause necrosis as well so we don't recommend neosporin but aquaphor or bacitracin works better for a much broader population of people.

If you have a deep pimple or cystic acne you can use a product called PRID it's a drawing salve and comes in a round orange tin. I have cystic acne and when ever I feel a new pimple coming in I get a Qtip and put a dot of salve right on top of the pimple and put a band aide on overnight . The next morning the pimple is either gone or the head is to the surface. I've been doing this for a long time and it's a lifesaver , it's better than having a cystic breakout spot for almost a month .

Don't be so insicure about a few breakouts, it can make people that have acne feel worse about themselves. Like if you can't leave the house like that, should people with severe acne just hibernate?

Hi Mary! When I said that, I was referring to going out without having any makeup on while having zits. Even with really bad acne, makeup helps cover a lot of that up. :)

Mary Holzhauer she wasn't referring to you so you shouldn't get offended everyone deal with acne differently and if your okay with how your skin looks without make up then you go girl! A lot of people are insecure about it though. Me being one of them and I have a little bit. And I don't mean this in a mean way you gotta love yourself just the way you are.

    • @alexisd8680
      @alexisd8680 8 лет назад +7

You really shouldn't be offended by what she said because maybe she doesn't feel comfortable or confident with acne and no makeup. Its the same with me, I don't have severe acne but its enough to suck up all my confidence and make me feel bad about going out in public with no make up. Everyone feels different about acne so you can't make her feel bad about how she personally feels.

The best thing I have ever used for acne is the dove men plus care soap in the green box. I'm a girl and my boyfriend had really bad acne, he wouldn't get a ton of pimples. Just two or three big ones. He started using this soap and his face cleared up completely. I had lots of really small bumps and had tried everything. I tried clean and clear, yes to tomatoes, facial scrubbers, the light therapy masks, proactive, sulfur acne medicine. I tried it all. I went to a dermatologist, but the acne medicine she prescribed basically ate my face off, so I tried the soap he was using. I'm telling you if you've tried everything for acne, try this soap. Don't use anything but the soap. I quit all my other acne routines. I do use the occasional benzoyl peroxide on a spot here and there but for the most part my acne is gone and I don't have any redness anymore because I'm not using harsh products on my face. Please give this a try.

cherry c. I personally don't use moisturizer, I have combination skin, so I find that it breaks my face out cause the oils from my skin already moisturize my face. But if you have dry skin, then I don't think it would hurt

Samantha Last if you have regularly reoccurring acne (particularly cystic acne) this may actually exacerbate it further, because you are adding an excess of moisture and spreading bacteria ever so slightly. I'd personally use a drying treatment (Mario Badescu's is great) first and then go in with the ointment. That way, you're addressing the bacteria as well as the broken skin.

Scabs take at least a week to heal maybe longer and then PIH. Tried this last night and said it cant be worst right. It worked, and beyond my expectations. I got big crater after 2 times squeezing pimple that left big crust. That crust I scratchet again and left with hole. Made this over night but with Mupirocin (in Europe) and bandaid and in morning litteraly was shocked. My scab was flat, with a layer of skin over it and looked like something that before would be after 3 days. I am very pleased and thank you 0:00 0:00 0:00

Sure! Ayesha Siddiqui ok so what I do when I have one or a bunch or puss-like pimples.
Step 1: Wash your face with any face cleanser or face exfoliater. (For best results use a face brush like from VanityPlanet)
Step 2: Put a very warm towel on your face for 1 min or 2.
Step 3: Extract pimples showing white and black heads if any.You NEED a pro blemish extracting tool (or tool set if you prefer). Or get two cotton swabs and kinda spread the skin around the pimple to push it up and then push down (not in) on both sides of the pimple firmly until extraction is complete. (if it wont budge don't go any further)
Step 4: your face is probably bleeding. That's okay. Wash your face again.
Step 5: Get another cotton swab and apply pure tea tree oil on all pimples or apply tea tree oil with a damp sponge on the entire face, AVOID EYES. It will sting and then it will die down as it evaporates and feel refreshing. Overtime the sting goes away and just feels refreshing.
Step 6: Apply Neosporin with a cotton swab to the popped pimples (and/or scars) and put a band aid over them. For best results (and if you have time) Leave it on for a total of 48 hours. If not just sleep with it over night.
Step 7: Wake up and wash your face and let it air dry. You may use the tea tree oil again and then apply a non greasy moisturizer or sunscreen.
BONUS: Apply petroleum jelly to lips before bed for soft non-chapped lips.
You will be makeup or natural face ready to take on the world!
      Thats all!

I have tried this for years. Band-aids leave an adhesive residue on your skin, and often exacerbate acne over time. Use hydrocolloid dressing instead! They are a type of wound coverage that is generally used on blisters, but work WONDERS on any open wound and can be picked up at most pharmacies. They heal wounds without any additional products, just uses the benefits of moist wound healing to drastically decrease healing time.

    St. Ives apricot scrub HAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
Warning: do not use these they dry out your skin and the st. Ives and alcohol creates micro tears in your skin and the alcohol will dry out your skin as well
Edit: I am aware people's skin types are different but please do not damage your skin by using alcohol. If you use it constantly it will damage your skin perm. Please do research on your own skin type before planning to use any of these methods and if you try to use any of these please consult with a derm. I'm pretty sure it is not recommended by any dermatologists and St. Ives Apricot even has a lawsuit. Kylie Jenner walnut scrub also has had complaints about microtears. It's very hard to undo microtears unless you have surgery or makeup. But just make sure to consult a professional.

@@Sam-du7cm Some people have different types of skin. It isn't good if you use it daily, but a couple times a week is totally fine. Some people don't have any reactions or problems with the symptoms said to be of this product, such as aging. And many young teens use this product and are on this platform trying to also get rid of pimples, so aging isn't really a problem since they are using this for hormonal acne. Applying it once a week is fine especially for people with sensetive skin, many people followed the instructions that came with the product and got burns, I think they applied way too much for multiple times...go to Amazon and read the good and the bad reviews then decide whither to buy or not, I followed this once a week method from a RUclipsr called Jazz, check her video it's really helpful...after your skin peel and heal the marks would be waaay lighter.. Take care, I feel you

I do this already! It really does help those angry looking pimples heal way faster. Just make sure you're not sensitive to the adhesive on the bandaids or you will have a whole new problem area to deal with. I like the fabric bandaids because they seem to have the best flexibility for your face.

I actually do a very close routine to this method. I use the St.ive green tea cleanser with a face cloth and wash my face with as hot as I can take it. After I finish I put the Neosporin on the trouble spots. This works like a charm for me! Great video!
