I was really stoked to finally see feel the Zahl AM1 and have it explained to me from Mark Ernestus.. and Nils Frahm what passionate guys! Super cool event overall..
@@OoraMusic HA! was going to ask how was going with yours? I´m looking to build a small one. but its extreme luxury that I will take my time saving for but I do love it a lot.
Thx for your perspective. Looks like a lot of new gear for knob turners….can’t wait for the new influx of “ambient”, “cinematic” “sketches” on you tube….😂
me too. Some great 'new tech' seems to have made it beyond the research phase. The Korg acoustic phase 'thing' is one of those i'm constantly looking for new information on.
I think Elektron should name that new quantize to scale feature after you..Oora Factor or something.... hopefully it'll show up eventually in the other boxes
Hi Oora, it was nice meeting you and showing you Wiggler! I like how you said the notes are “prepared by you” and how you can “just Wiggle”. Instruments like Flux and Osmose make me wonder sometimes if Wiggler has a purpose, but perspectives like this make me feel better about it!
The Groove 3rd Wave sampling update was a great announcement. Everything else announced were little sound making toys for sitting on your desktop and making ambient music for you while you watch and turn knobs.
Thanks for all the research, Oora! I know going to Superbooth is probably something you wish you could just avoid altogether. I mean, who, in their right mind, would willingly subjugate themselves to that horror? However, by sacrificing yourself, to the Superbooth madness, really does show us your dedication to bringing new instrument information into the public eye. :DD Seriously though, if you happen to see anything, at Sperbooth, regarding the Korg acoustic phase instrument (if you're interested in it yourself), could you please share your thoughts regarding any of its new developments? Thanks again for showing some interesting tech i (and possibly others) had not even heard of!
Ahahah! the Korg thingy need another year of development, but they still working on it. Pretty cool but long line to try one, so didn't have a chance yet.
Its such a bummer that Korg has decided not to continue their Electribe series. The EMX was one of the coolest (still after all these years) the second was an improvement in functionality but lost the synth hardware quality of the first. I was really hoping for the MK3 - would have been incredible (like a minilogue xd/ Korg M1/ Opsix all in one - which was kinda what they did on the first two to some lesser extent). Missed opportunity.
100% agree. They were so fun and awesome to connect together and play..., or as connected to ta triton or MPC. I still have all my smart media cards with my beats after all these years. It was a real bummer that the mk2 couldn't read/load project or sample files from the original ES-1 tho!
@StatetrooperBillyBill so awesome! Thank you dude. I'm still on the lookout for a original es-1, I still have a 20 year old bag of smart media cards filled with beats and samples lol. Would be nice if there was a way to convert them to the new file format. I was highly disappointed in '05 when the ES mk2 wouldn't read the project files from my ES1
@@StatetrooperBillyBill Interesting. Thaks for the info. Curious, why call it a bass synth? The Electribe were grooveboxes with focus on a mix of different types of analog modeling, drums, and pcm waves.
Would love to see some footage of the ISE NIN Voice from Black Corporation, there literally is nothing about it online so far. Really interested in it but no sound demos yet :(

Was great to meet you today. Awesome vlog.
Pleasure was mine! Ciao!
Been really intrigued by Cymaforma ALT recently, their kickstarter begins at the weekend I think. One to keep an eye on or support for sure

Are you live in Berlin? Unfortunately can’t come this to SB….family actions. Wish you a lot of fun at SB! Greetings 🖖👽
