I feel like that would be such a fun job. She does an amazing job interpreting what someone wants with their polish. If I’m not mistaken, this is the same person who mixed the custom polishes for Safiya and Cristine when they went there to make a video, and she did a great job then too.

I can't believe how affordable something this extra is, when I first heard of this I just dismissed it because I'm not going to LA but $20 online? Yea that I can do. Also one of my questions would be do they save the information so you can get the same color again.
I'm a super anxious person who dreads phone/video calls so I would normally go right for the "just mix my color" option, but the mixologist is so cool and helpful that I would even consider doing this step!
That is such a cool concept. I am already thinking about what I would make for my sister. She rarely gets anything for herself, and is always taking care of others, that this would be a perfect little luxury for her. I am so glad you posted this for us!

Thinking a bright medium dark intense purple base, with bright red and med dark periwinkle to cobalt blue shimmers, heavier on the latter. What an exciting thought! Thank you for sharing this!!! I think this is so great. I could imagine doing it as a bridesmaid gift. Especially with the option of uploading your own photos. Did you see that new planet discovered by the high school student. I saw that the day you did that pastel galaxy. And the colors on that planet are very pastel. So beautiful.
I'm telling you, Kelli, this is why you need to try out the O2 Nails gel color mixing pens! It's $50, but it's SO MUCH FUN to play with! The set comes with 5 base colors & you can download the app to get the "recipes" for pretty much whatever color you want. I hadn't even thought about adding mica for shimmer though, so I'm totally going to try that right now!!

When i saw this in my subscription box I got so excited!! My favorite OPI polish got discontinued and I was hoping to do the color labs to try and recreate it, but I always got really anxious when getting to the call step and always exited out. So excited- I have a favorite polish that is around 20 yrs old and I have never been able to replicate and I believe the brand is out of business (Creative), so I am going to try to replicate it with Orly. I have my order placed (using Kelli's discount code essentially bought me a free bottle of their combo base/top coat) and have my Zoom session scheduled. Love you Kelli and thanks for bringing awareness to this wonderful new option!
I have created polishes with orly three separate occasions and they have all came out beautifully! My only wish is that there were more shimmer options.
I like how the tip of your peak a boo colour is dark at the tips and the fades lighter at the top! Unless your camera is playing a optical illusion. Totally loving the hair look! Can't wait to see if you do different colours!

Loved seeing this! What a fun job to mix nail polish & consult for colors. I saw Christine & Safiya's visit to the color lab video but that's about all I knew of the Orly lab. $20 is really reasonable for a custom color from Orly. I may try it one day, I would def go for a med dark purple with shimmer and/or some glitters. Your color is gorgeous too. This would make a great gift for anyone who likes polish for sure. I had no idea they had this online, I see it now that I scrolled way down on their main page.
This was so neat! I have a bag of my mom's in her favorite color. I don't use the bag but it was just something she always used so I keep it for sentiment. But it would be a color I would wear on my nails and she loved having her nails done...I feel like Mom's Bag is a polish coming soon! 💜💅
I’m totally doing this! I want to make a color inspired by my fiancé’s family tartan (Scottish plaid). We are using the plaid in our wedding. Then I can wear it on our anniversary every year...or all the time. Haha 🥰

I've done this before at the Orly Labs pop-up in LA. As much fun as it was in person, based on this video, I think it may be even better virtually. When I went to the store, I didn't have as much time to think about my color story, and at least at the time, the photo inspiration options were more limited (this was over a year ago). The end result was great regardless, highly recommend

Loved seeing this! What a fun job to mix nail polish & consult for colors. I saw Christine & Safiya's visit to the color lab video but that's about all I knew of the Orly lab. $20 is really reasonable for a custom color from Orly. I may try it one day, I would def go for a med dark purple with shimmer and/or some glitters. Your color is gorgeous too. This would make a great gift for anyone who likes polish for sure. I had no idea they had this online, I see it now that I scrolled way down on their main page.

This was so neat! I have a bag of my mom's in her favorite color. I don't use the bag but it was just something she always used so I keep it for sentiment. But it would be a color I would wear on my nails and she loved having her nails done...I feel like Mom's Bag is a polish coming soon! 💜💅

I’m totally doing this! I want to make a color inspired by my fiancé’s family tartan (Scottish plaid). We are using the plaid in our wedding. Then I can wear it on our anniversary every year...or all the time. Haha 🥰

I've done this before at the Orly Labs pop-up in LA. As much fun as it was in person, based on this video, I think it may be even better virtually. When I went to the store, I didn't have as much time to think about my color story, and at least at the time, the photo inspiration options were more limited (this was over a year ago). The end result was great regardless, highly recommend
