Let’s be honest. This product is 95% about LeBron and wemby autos. No one is going to pay up for pajama card of cam Whitmore. These designs don’t sniff a select courtside or prizm ice’s jock. Just another lottery ticket gamble to add to the list to set 16 year old kids in the wrong track. Price is reasonable which is at least better than panini.

Looking forward to Topps Chrome Basketball coming back but this unlicensed stuff looks gross. Also anything unlicensed shouldn't be any more than 125-150.

Why do people get fooled by the 2 auto thing? People are excited for Coolibaly or Marjle autos all of a sudden? Unless u pull one of the 5 Vicors or LBJ, it will most likely be 2 $5-$10 autos on an unlicensed card. Leaf has tons of autos from tons of people for a lot less cheaper a shot at. For essentially the same thing, minus Wemby.

Curious as to why Fanatics hasn't done the product drop raffle system on topps website like they do on their site for high demand products. Seems the most fair way to potentially get products.
I got one but didn't know I did. The site was so bad it kept giving me error messages but when I looked in my orders one actually came through and I got an order number. I would suggest checking your orders to see if it came through.

Unlicensed trash. People buy away and light your money on fire. Breakers are going to pump this until all the boxes are gone and people are scratching their head on why they have $10 worth of cards from their $250 box of cards. People never learn...
This product is a hate crime
I was ready right at launch time, I was able to eventually add 3 boxes to my cart, I got to the spot in the checkout where my shipping info was confirmed, then the system was spinning infinitely and would not let me complete checkout. Kept trying until the product switched to showing as out of stock. Frustrating experience, so I am just going with the mindset I saved a bunch of money lol.
I am fine with Leaf and cool unlicensed autos, but a full set of base cards that are unlicensed can be pretty meh. This will probably be a Wemby or bust product, except the floor is even lower with it being unlicensed. I still wanted to scratch the itch and open "Topps Chrome Basketball" again though.

Can someone explain the obsession with official licenses? Price, design, I get those things. What meaning does a licence have to you as a collector? Its a legal contract you'll never see. A clerical distinction. In videogames its a requirement to get all the players and team logos, but that doesn't seem to be true here. I don't get it. This is a genuine question btw, I am kind of new to the concept of adult collectors outside of cliches like Micheal Jordon and Mickey Mantle type stuff going on sale at auctions beside notable memorabilia.

Is this any different than the Wemby Autos in 2022 Bowman U? And the colored parallels of those autos are selling for more than $10k! That’s the chase in this product IMO.
Mosaic hobby is more than 450, id rather have a chance at wembanyama and lebron autos for 270

When football and basketball get a longer continuity with this new era of Topps Chrome no one will care several years down the line that these aren’t licensed. They’ll want the Chrome

Topps Basketball from 1969 to 1971 did not have NBA license, and did not NFL License until 1982 and both had airbrushed logos. Fleer in 1979 to 1981 had the NFL license but did not have the player union license, and the Fleer is not worth anything compared to the Topps in those years.
I tried for an hour and it kept crashing and then said I had 3 in my cart but only wanted to buy 1. I finally quit and came back at 1:45 and it was sold out.
I tried for an hour and ran into traffic blocks every step. When I finally got my cart loaded - sold out.
That was at 1pm sold out probably sooner

If you ask me the panini Mosaic baseball they look pretty good I'm impressed I'm impressed with tops I think they look nice it's what you collect that's it it's what you collect who cares if they are unlicensed

There’s nothing wrong with the unlicensed product. 1st it allows players to make money on there name. 2nd allows people to get autos of player that they may not be able to afford else wise

Some people are blaming the release of optic and topps chrome for the stock market crash, claiming the massive sell off in the market was due to people selling stocks in order to afford a few boxes of the new releases.

Unlicenced cards are far more enjoyable to me. Take the NFL logo off, who cares. It's not like there's another league your favorite player is in. Even the team licences are unnecessary. If your favorite player is with the Bucs this year, and next year he's with the Rams, your card is still future proof. What matters is how cool the card is, how it looks and feels, how rare it is, and in what condition the card is in (either graded or raw). Personally I think the Leaf Metal Draft Football set from 2022 is the bomb. The cards look amazing, they feel like high quality, the player list is hot right now, and the quantity of low numbered cards is far less than in 2023 or this year's sets. Leaf split up Metal and Draft in 2023 and 2024, so that also makes the 2022 set exceptionally attractive. Maybe most important to collectors, the condition of the cards, if box fresh, are as good as anything you will ever buy from anyone. 🏈🥬😃💰
