Alcohol is so expensive in Canada that 50% tax on beer, 65% tax on wine, and 75% tax on spirits. I have to make my own cause I can't afford to even buy a beer up here. The tax is also going up another 6% on April 1st. No that is not an April fools joke! It's called an escalator tax, meaning it goes up every year. Only thing is that it has now turned into an elevator tax and soon to be a moonshot tax!!!!!!! And don't get me started on that carbon tax, every time I fart it costs me 2 dollars up here!!!

Today I went to Wal-Mart and got a 96 oz bottle of apple juice and made up some wine using your recipe, PawPaw adjusting the yeast and sugar for that amount. Have 3 batches fermenting now, from different dates so wrote the day made on the label. The last 4 months have made some and it all has turned out great. Thanks for passing your recipe along.
When I started using your recipe - 5 years ago I think - I got some really cheap airlocks for brewing. Using a drill bit I could drill a hole in the top of the cap. Blue-Tack (I think you call it Plasti-tax or fun--tac) made sure the seal was tight. it is so satisfying seeing the airlock bubble and gurgle and know that the good juice is being created with every bubble.
hope you hit 100,000 soon friend! My wife likes to make wine with me also now that you taught us, and we also like the white grape peach. but the best i made yet was ocean spray cranberry elderberry juice. thanks for the videos!
Hey I made wine this way after watching your videos before and I don't think I'll make wine another way again. Big plus was that they sat for 2 months instead of 1 because well, I sat it and I forgot about it. Its amazing thank you!
I tried three variations. White Cranberry Peach, Cranberry Pomegranate, and Grape. White Cranberry Peach was only 25% juice and I didn't care for it. The other two were 100% juice, they turned out good. Lesson learned, get 100% juice.

Ive made about 5 gallons of cranberry. I like it but it can be a bit bitter. Ive started adding a small splash of juice with each glass, it back sweetens a bit and tastes really good.

Probably got cool then warm and cool and warm. If it is bubbling, it is making alcohol !! Did you follow my recipe exactly or did you use more/less sugar or yeast ?
Hey Paw Paw, I have a secret for you. That measuring cup you used for the juice. If you turn it around and put the handle in the bottle it pours so much easier. lol

About to make a cranberry batch.
Ive made about 5 gallons of cranberry. I like it but it can be a bit bitter. Ive started adding a small splash of juice with each glass, it back sweetens a bit and tastes really good.

Its blackberry season here. Weve been picking them and using blackberry juice to do this. Maybe you can do it cheap and pick some free berries
