I've purchased a 2017 Eagle and found the setup of the awning and bed flies to be a huge headache. Absolute time waster. Selling the van ASAP and looking at a caravan with a roll out awning. Also, the sink design is a nightmare. You have to bend forward to wash dishes and the 12v pump outlet means you're guaranteed to get water everywhere you don't want it to be.
Im sure you are not doing it in the right way. I have those side and bed owning they are easy to set up and takes a bit longer to roll them up. If two persons its super easy.
Just bought a 2016 Swan Tourer and your right , what a bitch, it took me 15 Minutes to setup, give me a break
