Hi Rachael, thank you for this video, it was most helpful.
You make me wish I was Jewish! I love, absolutely love, everything I read, hear or see of Jewish tradition. It is all so deep and meaningful and lovely.
Megan Lowry maybe you're Jewish at heart! Reach out to your local temple for classes or to speak with a rabbi about conversion.
You can always convert but let it be for all the good reasons. You will need a Rabbi to sponsor you. Shana Tova!
@@TheMasterNeko I did, and I did. Just celebrated the 50th anniversary of my conversion in Dec 2018
I'm almost done converting. One of the best decisions I've made in my entire 51 years!

Thank you
Wow! I am glad you did this video. I've been wondering if I m doing it right or not. I guess I didn't realize God commanded us to light the candles. I thought it was just listening to the blowing of the shofar. I'm probably doing that wrong too! LOL thanks for the clarity. I just want to obey God.
Love it !
I thank you very much. Lovely and simple explanation.

This is something that was never explained in Hebrew School.
If one is observant, regarding the second night, where would a person get another flame in order to transfer the flame to the candles?
