Well, yeah, we need to not get bogged down with traditions and man-made customs, but I think that, to some degree, these traditions are a way of expressing our love, reverence and gratefulness for Adonai and what he has done for us. As the Rabbi Hadar explained, the torah only calls for 30 blasts, but we do 100 because we love him and his commands. Yes, some of this isn't required, but that's no reason not to do it.

      Isaiah 53 1
He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.

Hi: Good Day to you. I am a saxophone player (soprano and sopranino) investigating eastern European sounds from (about) the Year 4000. I understand that I have Jewish family but I have no way to know for sure. Question: Is there some kind prohibition for people who are not Jewish to play the Shofar? How about different rules for women musicians in the Reformed movement? from St. Thomas VI .. G_d🙏😄

According to Num.10:8-10 , Josh.6:4-6. This Commandment was assigned to the Levitical Priests only and it was a" law/Commandment throughout their generations ". So when the temple was destroyed, the Levitical Priests has no place in the temple and their assignment of blowing the shofars was also no more. Anyone who attempts to take that assignment would be like Korah wanting also the Priesthood. (Nu.16:9-10). The SILENCE is a sign and a reminder that the Temple stands no more.

I am a mere fetus in my understanding of Yahweh. Is not repetition the forskin of the heart. Is He as forgetful as I when my sons ask over and over even 3.3 times am I not less likely to give them their desire than if they ask right the first time with a kind heart. As a Father I would be more likely to give them more.

The Lord God says that you actually said it correctly the first time. Nine blows of the horn means sin and a missing of the mark. God doesn’t want you to doubt and do the 30 blows. 30 is not a good number in gematria either but we’re told it’s not good in the New Testament when Judas received 30 pieces of Silver for information to deny Christ. In a way the true Jews are denying Christ just with the extra 30 blasts. Please believe me HE wants you saved. Christ died for you too. 😊💕

Catch up your knowledge of recent DNA work.
For years now, the findings of Harry Ostrer, professor of pathology and genetics at Yeshiva University's Albert Einstein College of Medicine and author of the 2012 book "Legacy: A Genetic History of the Jewish People." and several other scientists have stood virtually unchallenged on the genetics of Jews and the story they tell of the common Middle East origins shared by many Jewish populations worldwide. Jews - and Ashkenazim in particular - are indeed one people, his research finds.
It's a theory that more or less affirms the understanding that many Jews themselves hold of who they are in the world: a people who, though scattered, share an ethnic-racial bond rooted in their common ancestral descent from the indigenous Jews of ancient Judea or Palestine, as the Romans called it after they conquered the Jewish homeland.
Arthur Koerstler's "The Thirteenth Tribe" and an even older work of falsehood "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" stand together as sources of monumental error.

There is nothing biblical about the Gemara, Mishnah, Talmud, etc. These are the man made doctrines our messiah spoke of and that's why the so-called jew doesn't respect him.
The Gemara is the component of the Talmud comprising
RABINNICAL ANALYSIS of and COMMENTARY on the Mishnah. After the Mishnah
was published by Judah HaNasi (c. 200 CE), the work was studied
exhaustively by generation after generation of rabbis in Babylonia and
    the Land of Israel.
