HALIDONMUSIC у меня не хватить знание русского языка чтобы сказать насколько это музыка прекрасна просто слов нет это шедевр спасибо вам за такую прекрасную музыку
I would like to hear covers of "My World is Empty Without You", "Reflections" "Standing in the Shadows of Love", "You Light Up My Life" Walk Away Reneé"," Mercy, Mercy Me" as examples.
I apologies but this new contemporary music is just horrible. Everything sounds like Debussy, for some reason no one else can get the correct texture and change that Liszt, Chopin or even Schumann can achieve. Everything is legato and piano, everything is 'elegant' and identical. Forgive me if I sound disgusted or as if I want to slander the music because I do like this music, no one can despise Debussy; there is no intriguing change or colour change, it is just the same throughout. I hope the new contemporary composers of this era can understand the demand, and what their music lacks, as you can never despise an artist, they are just interpreting art through their own methods. Nevertheless the music is just repetitive and cliché and must be changed immeadiatly. You can't beat the classics and I admire the new composers attempts to revive this dying genre, however you can't when you aren't exploring and going down your own path. Thank you for reading and please leave your views on this topic below.
Henry Porter Finally! I was going insane thinking I was the only one who noticed this trend, thank you so much Do you have any idea why we have this current way of composing? And by any chance, could you recommend me some contemporary music that breaks out of this form?
Henry Poter and Javier L. We have in this selection a lot of musics that try to attempt a minimalist stile of music (a reductive style or school of modern music utilizing only simple sonorities, rhythms, and patterns, with minimal embellishment or orchestrational complexity, and characterized by protracted repetition of figurations, obsessive structural rigor, and often a pulsing, hypnotic effect) far away from what Debussy composed (a romantic composer, with strong nacionalist references). This kind of music intend to take you to a place where all of our daily complexities may be forgotten. However, if you still thinking it is not a valid tipe of composition and want more """""color"""" in the compositions, try out some composers like Alfred Schnittke, Dmitri Shostakovich, Heitor Villa-Lobos or even (still a minimalist composer) Ralph Vaughan Williams.
Agree, I like this music as well, but it doesn't tell a story which for me is what great music does. This is more like snapshot, or a single emotion repeated, meditations of sorts.

Debussy is way better than that. But I agree with you. It's beautifull music, but it gets cheesy sometimes.

I agree so much with the cliché and always legato part... omg why do they play so liiiiight... there is absolutley no weight in it
...
is this a good silence or bad silence? :) let us know what you think!
