I can't imagine playing for this band live like that every night. Actually I asked Eugene if he ever thought about playing for an easier band and he said he's going to keep doing this as long as he is physically able and I know him, we're going to get a LOT more great drumming like this. The man is a beast.

@M. M. yup, this led me back to him, I actually have followed him for years. Absolute machine!! I listened to the last fleshgod album, the mix is disgracefully on it, from a drummers perspective. The snare is lost, and the whole kit is in the background too much. A drummer with this type of ability needs to be highlighted, not hidden

Drum recording was perfect on Agony compared to the other albums they've made. You could appreciate everything Francesco was doing!

I drum in a Christian Progressive Death Metal band and when I do blasts or sixteenth notes I basically have to wear shorts, socks, and a sleeveless shirt, and I can't go anywhere near this speed.
I could not imagine playing extreme metal in the stage attire they wear every night. Mad props to Fleshgod Apocalypse for their amazingly brutiful music!
I used to play drums in a band (metal, but not anywhere near this level) and one thing that used to really bother me was when you’d play on an unstable elevated platform and your drums wobble all over the place!

I took two lessons from this guy. Never got the 3rd. He gave me shit about double strokes said not to do any fancy ankle stuff. Didn't even realize I was using the double to play the example exercise as I just play by ear and ambidextrous. Now he is using doubles all over the place lol 😆 😂 🙃 but honestly he corrected my seating position and that changed my life. So ill be forever grateful. Even if he never got back to me for the 3rd lesson I paid for. It was the only lessons I've ever taken and it changed everything. So respect

You didn't even get to read my mail through or check my playing and samples before the sessions. Like you said... it took you years to learn that seat trick and you gave it to me in 5 minutes. I figured giving you the 3rd lesson off was well earned tip. you deserved it.
I was gonna gift the 3rd to my drum tech from my old band I played guitar in. It's all good bro. It's been hard times for everyone. It's cool

Mnie zaskoczył, że nie ma w ogóle trigerów, nawet na stopach. Nagłośnione na mikrofonach a i tak słychać selektywnie wszystko. W obecnych czasach to raczej niespotykane zjawisko.

Hello, just my 2p worth, its about getting the right feel, it reminds me of 2 magnets, repelling, get the feel, get your foot in the right place for you, itll take time, but when you hear that, 2 hits for one, remeber where your foot was, mines , sort of in the middle of my foot, just behind the ball, dont have to press hard, just let it bounce baby

He have a tight setup, the legs moves the snare. It´s all about how you want things to be placed.
At high speed its crucial to have thins at a comfortable place, then you can play blindfolded if you are comfortable with the setup.
